Seeing this city made me lose all my confidence I thought I had in this game

Lol, everytime I play Skylines now I just give up about a half hour/hour in because i cant get my cities as detailed as people on youtube.

Uh yeah, that second station at 3:20 looks extremely unsafe for pedestrians 😂
Then you should see one of the CalTrain stops on the line to San Francisco.
Forget about pedestrians, the pillar placement at 6:00 is unsafe for everyone involved 😂

When you think your city is cool then you see this and realise it's a potato in comparison to this.
This came up in the recommended and I'm glad it did. This has to be the most realistic looking city I've ever seen, in terms of infastructure and industries, but more importantly the size of it. It's big, much bigger than many cities I've seen and that goes along way to improve to immersion of this creating. Great stuff +1 sub 👌

I absolutely love your stuff, but it might be a good idea to test ride your train and move stuff like pillars and lamp posts out of the track. You spend SO much time making the city so immersive and realistic, only to have the immersion ruined by easy to fix mistakes.
Not by any means saying your content is bad, because it's not, it's amazing and that's why i sub to you, it would just take your videos to a much deeper and better production level

Yeah we lived here a couple months ago...the pillar has been on the news again lately but it's been there forever as a measure to ensure city death and birth rates remain balanced. Also yeah flying cars are no secret here unless you're a tourist. Welcome!

When I see videos like that, I feel sad, because I can't see the same in my Cities. And I don't think that I ever will. But then, a little hope inside make me work on my cities again and again, making them bigger and more detailed, so after some years I probably could see them like that. Beautiful and heartwarming

@@dxelson I did the see whole series... they didnt realy show how they connected the airport to the city... specialy the plane stand... everybody knows plans randomly just land & takes off... some time vanishes from your map... by the way I was taking about the AI... not how to create a realistic Airport in CS

Mmm let's say one station per zone, only one line. Of course supported by subways, buses, etc to feed the rail system, idk. And yes, the bigger the city, the more stations you'll probably need

PHTN Gaming how’s your FPS so good? Are you using some kind of fps tool to record them smoothly? I have almost the same specs (but DDR3 32gb and a 4770k) and I would get 5-10 FPS at most with such a view. My current city is 230k and I can get smooth fps if I zoom in on some bit of grass outside the city but if I zoom in on a neighbourhood it plummets to about 10fps. Still playable, because it’s a city builder but it’s so crap for recording something nice like this.
It's unbelievable what mods made out of this game. Paradox and Colossal Order are the best when it comes to mod support.
