    I have a couple of questions that I'd love answered. I'll listen to the reviews again, but has anyone actually tested out whether the range can be achieved on this ebike. I think I heard 100KM as an achievable range. Great, if it can do it. I seem to see a range indicator at 13KM, and a battery indicator at 15% at minute 4.30. Does the range make sense given the motor and battery? I wish someone had cycled this ebike up and down hills, - push that baby, and see what range is achieved sort of thing. Secondly, as riders begin to ride in a few videos, the ebike seems to hit gear 3 very fast. So what does that mean about cadence when you're cycling on a flat road, and you are going, say, 30 KM per hr, with or without motor / battery. Is the cadence too fast to actually peddle, or are you able to peddle slowly enough on the flat at that speed. That could be a real problem in my eyes, and I may not have expressed it clearly enough, but it would seem to be crucial, or you will simply be relying on the motor and battery to propel the ebike forward as your legs may not be able to peddle fast enough given the gear limitations. that would be a nightmare. Look forward to hearing a response. I'd love to buy one, but how pie in the sky is this ebike?

    I love the 60Nm torquem buth this e-bike doesn't match enough criteria for me :
    - No place for mudguards, sometimes roads are pretty wet after raining...
    - Singlespeed, it is very easy to go faster than 25 kph and a carbon e-bike of 15kg is on the heavy side
    - No dropbar, no possibilty to change the handlebar... commuters like dropbar
    I have an old steel e-bike (2017) with a Zehus motor :
    - Weights 14kg
    - 2 mechanical speeds (Schlumpf drive), Zehus motor 250w 25kph
    - Mudguards
    - Elegant (look like a Pashley Guv'nor)
    Seems that only Lemond bike is the right pick for me.

      Hi. Thanks for sharing your opinion. The fender is one of the optional accessories that customers can add to their order. We will consider applying the design of adjustable handlebars and front suspension to the new series. The top speed of the US version is 32 kph. Do you think most riders will prefer a rear derailleur?

    • @cyclonaut4903
      @cyclonaut4903 Před 6 měsíci

      @@Tezeusebike Thank you for your reply and it is good that you will think about more handlebar options.
      My apologies, I missed the fender option.
      I am in Europe and I don't think you will send bikes without limitating the speed to the legislation (25 kph). Otherwise, yes 32 kph doesn't need rear derailleur.
      Wish you plenty of success.

      The steel e-bike you own will have very limited range (30-40km?). On the other hand, although this is a prototipe, Lemond bike is over 5.000€...

    • @cyclonaut4903
      @cyclonaut4903 Před 6 měsíci

      @@xabiaa2167 Indeed, in turbo mode 35km is the limit, but there is a kinetic energy recovery system. So, if you commute smartly then “Smooth is fast and fast is smooth” and you could go over this limit with one charge. It is enough for me for the week. With the most conservative mode, I have commuted over 1’000km with one charge.
      I am well aware that we don’t have the same contraints (commuting, budget, etc.). My first comment was about saying : “This bike isn’t for me, I am not the targeted customer for these reasons, I am this type of customer (saying what I have) and this is my budget for an e-bike I will use everyday (naming Lemond)” and Tezeus responds smartly :
      - Indicating kindly that they have fenders.
      - That they care about my comment (considering adjustable handlebar)
      - And asked me a question, because they have done their market study before.
      They are entrepreneurs, I know a little about entrepreneurship (real estate) and I love bike (commuting, road and track). And Tezeus has probably understood some of these with my two comments.
      Thank you for your comment and wish you all the best in life and career.

    I like it, Grant, thanks for showing us but yeah, an alloy frame would be fine for the rough and tumble of commuting and locking to bike racks and bummer if that head unit is glued to the stem, who wants to leave that outside all day long? And external brake hoses would be preferred by me, nothing wrong with slipping them into the frame and fork and keeping the stem free of them. But that's just me, I simply prefer simplicity. And is that bike a re-branded Baby Maker? I recall seeing ads for a bike by that name with similar features and, I think, the same sales situation with the customers paying in advance.

    Routing hoses and wires through the handlebars and steering tube is a structural hazard and a maintenance nightmare not to mention the end-users, in ability to change, or even adjust the position of those handlebars.. Using a touchscreen while still is great, but when in motion is unreliable. Looking at that screen and taking your eyes off the road is not a great idea. The upward facing seams in the battery compartment will fill that compartment with water same with the device on the handlebars. Your ideas for integration, and the connected features are wonderful, however, it's a much larger development cycle that I think you realize. Is your battery UL approved? The insurance industry has recently come down on non-UL approved batteries for bikes. They will make it hard for you to ensure your home or business if you keep this around. The bike industry at present has a year and a half over supply of bikes worldwide. I have never in my life seen so many deep discounts. You will need some considerable money to make this project happen. Yes, I am that Gary fisher. I started making bikes in 1979 and have worked with many great creative and successful makers worldwide. Buyer beware.

    what kind of review is this? first of all the bike is not 15 kg. Second you are saying how nice it is but you are riding it on a flat road....On flat roads you don't need e-bikes....then you said nothing about the motor type and specs...finally an e-bike suppose to be an e-bicycle and not a motor bike....in other words, to have a feel of a bicycle and the benefits of it, you must be able to have some gears that you can control manually as you need it and not automatically when the bike decides that you shouldn't get tired....in other words....waste of time review...If you want to see what I mean, check out the Canyon Roadlite ON CF 9. Thats a bike that exist for more than 14 months and its light years ahead of the competition. The only thing that this bike offers different is the belt drive which without wide range of gears...its useless. The Canyon sells like hot cakes, its constantly out of stock, they cannot produce enough....
