  • Like many Mainers, we were already to start racking the yard and playing in the garden... but then, a huge snow storm changed all that. Now our plans are put off for another 3 weeks. Drat! Oh, well. I made the best of it and chose to use the time creating this video of snow blowing with the WoodMaxx SB72. My Kubota L4600 performed flawlessly with the snowblower. The next time I'm guessing that I'll use the tractor is to smooth out the driveway before taking it back upta camp! My plan is to move the snowblower up there too. Hopefully come this winter, we'll have progressed enough on the camp to be able to work inside. Thanks for watching...

Thanks for the video, On my deck what I did was remove about five maybe six of the balusters on the one side away from the stairs. Once I get up the stairs I make a path over to the gap and start pushing shovel full out the hole. Except for making the path which I only lay the snow to the side, I never lift the shovel off the deck, I just slide it across the deck. I'm also using one of those ergonomic snow shovels with the bend in it. My house is what's called a Salt Box and the roof is real steep on the deck. The snow can roll off the roof on to the deck to where it's 3 feet high, I'm done with trying to lift that over the railing.

That woodmaxx seems to be working good! I had already taken the blower off. Our forecast for the same storm was 4 to 6 inches but woke up to a foot.
