We're Keeping The Tub/Shower Combo
As it turns out, after a cleaning by Linda, the tub looks like new! So I had to get busy and disconnect all the plumbing and remove the surrounding sheetrock to expose the wall 2x4s so I could then cut out a section of wall to get this tub/shower combo out of the old house. It was too big to get our any other way. This video focuses on getting the tub out of the old house and getting it into the new build. Enjoy, it all was a pretty smooth process. We also saved the porcelain sink which was in excellent shape too. Thanks for watching...

278 Old Bathtub Surround in new build?

I messed up folks! I build all the walls around the bathroom before I installed the bathtub! Damn, I screwed up and will eventually have to rebuild one of the walls so I can get the tub in there and then reinstall the wall. In the meantime, we're considering using the 20 year old tub surround in the old abandoned house. Porcupines made a home in this tub, will it clean up?? It was installed in ...

It was taken last year after we cleared several birch trees that were leaning towards the build and surely would have fallen onto the build if I had left them standing. This is a short demo of a back-hoe THUMB on my Kubota L4600. The back-hoe is a BH92. I've used this thumb to pick up rocks, stumps, trees, and anything I can grab and maneuver. If you are going to go the expense of getting a back-hoe for your tractor - go the added expense and get a thumb too. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for the video, On my deck what I did was remove about five maybe six of the balusters on the one side away from the stairs. Once I get up the stairs I make a path over to the gap and start pushing shovel full out the hole. Except for making the path which I only lay the snow to the side, I never lift the shovel off the deck, I just slide it across the deck. I'm also using one of those ergonomic snow shovels with the bend in it. My house is what's called a Salt Box and the roof is real steep on the deck. The snow can roll off the roof on to the deck to where it's 3 feet high, I'm done with trying to lift that over the railing.

Your right, I could have pulled more than I did.... I like to get them out of the way as I cut them so there is less for me to trip over at my age...

Sounds like you put the cart before the horse of that build. Trees first then build.

Looks great. Should be fine now. Just need some grass seed and roots will keep that dirt in place. If not, maybe a gutter on the back side. Easier to walk thru there now too.

Nice looking camp. I heard you say Florida, so I was a little confused because I thought you were in Maine.

I have the Uniforest 30M and love it. I would like to trade it in for a larger one at some point

My CK2620 didn't have two-piece wheels so I just tied the rope all the around the tire and used the tire lugs to keep the rope in place as I rotated the (jacked up) wheels and wrapped the chains in place. Worked very well with just me alone. Thanks for the tip. - N Idaho -
