Been there today at an RLNI open day. Being a local lad and fished pen anglas, porth clais, dinas head, strumble head on the boat I never realised how big the breakwater is and also the possible marks for conger, mackerel, wrasse, pollock. How do I get access to fish this breakwater?

The outer breakwater is accessed with angling clubs in Pembrokeshire mate. They’ll hold matches on there every so often.

I'm pretty much certain the tideline is summin to do with state owned so is public non licence. Its the access to it that will stop u but there maybe local bylaws as sea fishing is pretty much free and unstoppable once on the edge depending who owns the land u could always seek permission from a land owner to cross as a club can only restrict access to it pal.
A club is way forward but us impossible to join every club on every mile of the coast 😉

No mate nothing to do with access to it, it’s just a coded gate which they change every day. It’s the insurance you need to fish it I believe, because it’s fairly dangerous on the blocks. All clubs have insurance 😊

Gotcha. Makes sense that plus those blocks ain't exactly below the tideline either.
Love ya video tho. Haven't seen much of the light fishing but heard its satisfying. Well done bruv. I get the ugly stick out for a bit of spinning between. Won't feed a fat belly but that ice rod stuff seems pretty cool.

Hiya mate, I fished with a club. If you search on Facebook for Neyland, Tenby, Pembroke and Saundersfoot clubs they should come up. Drop them a message
