Is app data in the secure folder backed up by Google One backup system? In particular are photos in the gallery in the secure folder backed up at all?

Doesn't AI goes into Samsung cloud? If it does and you don't want anyone accessing your secure folder files I wouldn't recommend setting that up

Jeff, just FYI, changing the name is meaningless because all you need to do to know if someone has the secret folder (name change or not) is to go in gallery, press the 3 dots and among the options, it'll ask you if you want to move picture(s) to that secret folder (name change or not) they should have kept the original name so to not reveal that new name.
@@mariobe3674 no average user is going to know this so I'd argue changing the name is far from meaningless
@@jspring86 okay Jeff, except it's not the average user we should be worried about... but my point is/was maybe if Samsung had just maintained the name in gallery it might or not helped to keep the new name secret (🤔). I suspect you have more power than me, to influence Samsung as a suggestion. Or better, if you could convince me I'm wrong, that could be fine too.

@@jspring86 and I guess as fervent user of that secret folder for many, many years... I've tried to protect it with a 16 alphanumeric+ special character password 🔑 I'm less worried for myself, especially that I'm a nobody...😊
