- The plaintiffs say they went to retrieve their car from church one day, and it was missing because the defendant illegally towed their car from a spot they had every right to park in. The plaintiffs are suing for the tow fee they paid. The defendant insists he had every right to tow the car because the plaintiffs didn’t have the proper permit, and his manager signed off on the tow.

they get paid an appearance fee plus travel - so even thought they didn't win, they probably got paid enough to settle up the tow charge (allbeit at the cost of their pride once this episode airs)

Her car was towed because she broke the rules and tried to park somewhere she wasn't permitted to. The Plaintiff has some nerve suing the tow truck company, when it was the management company that authorized the tow. Also, she's just mad that the tenant called management for parking in the spot assigned to someone else. Ridiculous.

Well I go to get my car the next morning I had a boot on my tire. It sounds to me like this plaintiff sued the towing company rather than either the management or the tenant out of anger and perhaps not wanting to confront someone they have close dealings with.
