Because the muscle fibres you use for jumping and sprinting are primarily the same (fast twitch muscle fibres) so if he can jump high like that and isn’t completely an abomination with his running technique, you can assume from this jump, that he would be fast. But I see what you mean, tho correlation doesn’t imply causation.
