Best of Railfanning 2023: Part 2 (4K)

As we continue with the #2023 in review season, we now pick up where Part 1 left off with the Best of Railfanning 2023: Part 2. Covering from August to December of 2023, we look at some of my favorite adventures from that half of the year. Join us in this half from the East Coast. In Pennsylvania, I finally got to make the trek to Steamtown. I was lucky enough to see #26 and #514 operate as well as see the collection there with gems such as #2317 #3254 #759 and #4012 and more. The following day I would be down in Reading for another chase with the loudest steam locomotive #2102 showing why it is considered to be the loudest operational steam locomotive. Back home in New York, I would catch two more Heritage units #8099 and #1827 ending my modern railfanning. In the Midwest, I would catch #765 again on the Indiana Fall Colors Train. I would also get to chase #1225 return to the North Pole Express after a multi year rebuild of the running gear. And lastly down south again, I would catch the Queen of Steam #611 on the Mainline again. I would also end back up in Maryland twice more, for more coverage of the #1309 on both Fall Flyer & Polar express trips. So grab some popcorn, and enjoy my Best of Railfanning 2023: Part 2!
Next week we begin the Memories(Vlog) Season of the channel. Starting with Western Maryland Memories Part 2. After that, we move into the Directors cut of both 1309 from this past year, and the Diesels at the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad! So stay tuned.
