I would say the real wheelie king is Wild Bill Maverick in the Little Red Wagon who did it far longer not only in feet but in years as well but this is still cool to watch .

Still the MAV has it at over 4 thousand feet granted it was a purpose built truck but it was still way harder to drive & he often did it faster through the traps & did this at night as well because I had seen him do it at the old now gone Minnesota drag ways at night where he would drop the tail gate & do those wheelies throwing sparks off the tail gate at night often running in the high tens low 11s on the back wheels having to look through holes he had cut in the floor to see using the marker lines on the strip to keep it in the lane & often times it was right down the middle of both lanes lol . The guy was crazy like the others that at the time had their versions on wheelie cars trucks one that was a Ford Econoline that was similar to the Dodge that Maverick drove but had a complete roll cage built on the outside of it & this guy would start out doing a wheelie then hit the brakes & the whole damn thing would roll over on its cage & back on its wheels again lol . I was lucky to see some of the cool stuff going on at the strips back in the day like the green Mamba jet car racing against the nitro dragsters & the Army Navy tanks & Evil Knievel doing his jumps at that drag strip . Often times the Little red wagon would compete against the famous Hemi under glass Barracuda that Jay Leno was in that got rolled as well some years ago that I got to also see back in the day . So is this Gremlin using a AMC engine because I couldn't see with the camera moving kind of fast when the engine was shown ?

Saturday rained at 3 and ended things but Sunday started off really chilly but warmed up. Place was packed!

@@MaliciousSRT Actually they are looking for a roof and quarter panel. He has another and so does his son but they are both nice race cars so they do need a donor gremlin.
Old comment but if you listen to the announcer at around 1:08 he says he's been at it for 20 years with that Gremlin. Maybe not that specific Gremlin, but *A* Gremlin for sure.
The 10K doesn't cover the repair bill but I'm impressed that he's actually running an AMC engine!
The 401 gained a big following and could easily be built to make 900 horsepower NA

@@kevintucker3354 14 years ago my bellytank lakester went 249 mph with a budget turbo'd 401 dogleg engine, now it has a license plate. They're a cool engine that'll stump most people when it's not in an AMC!

It’s needs a set of wheels on the back bumper to act as a wheelie bar and keep him going straight down the track ok his runs

Happy he's ok sad that beauty car got munched... it could be fixed however it would be cheaper to find a good shell and start over... gremlins ain't easy to find... even tho he put it on its lid this guy is a master driver...
