    I'm a random American Football and Hockey watching Canadian. I'm here watching this guy on CZcams talk about a team I had no real reason to know anything about playing a sport I never really followed. Rob and Ryan are 100% the reason for that. Says a lot about what those two have done. Go Wrexham!!!

      Liam is Wrexham- when I googled Wrexham afc in 2021 he came up and have followed him ever since I have been impressed with his on line presence and passion. He hasn’t let the constraints of the efl keep him from producing great content. up the town- if I ever get to Wrexham I

      I agree , ive never followed any football team with such eagerness, ive messed up season 3 by now watching wrexham and i don't know why i love this team so much. I think its everything rob and ryan have done, the city is buzzing and the businesses are booming, i had never heard of Ifor Williams Trailers before 2023.

      IF you completely ignore them being actually good human beings and assume they are only in it for the money etc, it makes sense to be who they seem to be. The PR is massive and the club has so much potential. The overall cost to them is relatively negligible comparatively speaking.

    Hey Liam, I've watched a couple of your videos and this is your best so far. I'm a fan from America of 2 British teams, Leeds up north of you and Wrexham. There is only one Leeds channel that I'm subscribed to, I bring this up because I'm not into all the overreactions and rumormongering of some channels. I was going to suggest that you take a look at the Leeds United - The View channel between your own video making to see another content creator who like you doesn't get into sensationalism, who addresses rumors but points them out for what they are, and likes you who loves their club. Again - good video. Carry on.

      This league has been so competitive , every team has a chance to beat anyone , 6 games togo , points will be dropped by the top teams , Doncaster are on a good run , this will be a tough game , can see Stockport and Mansfield winning today and mkdons away from home win , Barrow draw at morecambe and Crewe should beat FGR . its gonna be a great end to the season !

    love this angle with the backdrop- suggest you keep it. I’m following other teams a lot more closely than last season- you’re right about it being “squeaky bum time” but I’m confident we will go up. Wrexham shows up against big competition- with Evans due back that will help. I hope he gets a few minutes against Mansfield. It is going to be tight. thankfully we have a game in hand v Dons. We need to show up on Friday and not concede the early goal. We can win but a draw is enough. Up.The.Town 🇨🇦🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

    Wrexham AFC is worth more than the £9mm that Shaun Harvey referenced. Although I have not seen the latest set of numbers n’or any recent projections, I spent a decent chunk of my career analyzing and advising on professional sports transactions, including as a consultant to another potential buyer of Wrexham right before the Rob and Ryan deal was announced. Although I am now retired, I do still keep my ear to the ground and there is plenty of gossip around Wrexham just given the uniqueness of the business model. In that regard, I heard recently through the grapevine that if Wrexham are promoted to League 1, Rob and Ryan will be looking for additional investors. As we all know, Rob and Ryan want the club to be self-sustaining and in order to do that, they need an infrastructure in place that can grow as the team climbs the pyramid. Both in terms of physical infrastructure (think training ground, academy, large scale renovation the Stoke Cay ras, etc) as well as personnel to manage the infrastructure. Then of course, the wage bill in the Championship will need to be multiples of what it is today to be competitive in that league. Therefore it makes sense to bring in additional capital now/soon in order to stay ahead of the growth curve. Long story short, the valuation that is being discussed in terms of where they would raise new equity is much closer to £18mm or $22mm vs the £9mm referenced by Shaun Harvey. Again these are just rumors but I also think it makes more sense again assuming they get promoted to League 1.

    • @albertscanlon2005
      @albertscanlon2005 Před měsícem

      For Championship clubs for the 2021-2022 season, clubs have reported their financial results, but of those that have published the numbers, the average operational losses last season were £476,000 a week. The cost of getting to the 'Promised Land' of the PL is increasing every year. .It is reality ...the romance of the game has become less and less. The business model of clubs has seen to that. Sure Wrexham may indeed end up in the championship and quite possibly the Premiership but at what cost. The fans of Wrexham do deserve success for the injustice of what happened under Alex Hamilton and the deduction of the 12 points thus relegating Wrexham to play non-league football for15 years, and it is terrific for the town to feel the excitement of the American owners investment to date whatever the outcome is. However the real romantic story is the model of Luton town and their journey from non-league to Premiership football in 10years without the fanfare of famous owners. Not sure we will see that story again any time soon

    Love the game, team and town. As an American fan, the amount of abuse we get from other L2 teams fans is next level. I am a very accomplished troll, so I give as good as I get. Even had one lad wanting to meet up and fight! Lmao. I know Wrexham fans take heat from other fans, but they have a special kind of hate for us in the states. Makes us love the team and town more. Up the town lads. Idc where we place as long as it’s top 3 and not the playoffs.

    Maybe Wrexham can use Mansfield as sparring partners for promotion just like Notts County last year.
    Our squad certainly have the mind set and determination. Friday's game will certainly set the tone for moving forward. Here's hoping for a positive outcome with a draw at the very least.

    • @kentgulliford
      @kentgulliford Před 2 měsíci

      they are in a league where clubs/ teams all have resources. The “wobble” is simply a team playing against squads of similar skill and motivation- not unlike any other pro league. Last years results have tarnished the reality- and the added distraction of being under a championship/ premier league level of scrutiny while playing in leagues well below that sometimes rears its head. Keep the faith we are going up!!!

Oconnor moves back to the back 3. Evans is a more defensive minded midfield, more so than oconnor. Both will be on the pitch v Doncaster
