@@xternalz see fair use is a subpart of the copyright law. fair use is a doctrine big difference. in basic terms fair use is an opinion, just because you say its a critique or ""parody"" means nothing . theres a lot of things in the rules not just im critiquing it. at the end of the day the verge could have sued and WON but its not worth the time or costs

Specifically, you have committed a count of perjury and if Vox decides to sue (which they will), you have no legal leg to stand on.

Just wanted to say, when they claim you two used "90% of their video" you go on a rant claiming your videos weren't 90% theirs. That's not what they were claiming. They were saying WITHIN the videos the two of your made, you use 90% of their video. Which in your case, is true (I haven't seen Kyle/Lyle's video). You used most of their video within your video. But your video still falls within fair use and they abused the copyright strike system.

WHY is no one mentioning the fact that "The Verge" did NOT remove the strikes I think it was from Kyle (I forgot which youtuber said it) I heard that apparently CZcams sided with him as they eventually noticed that there were discrepencies in the what "The Verge" tried to claim and what the video showed or something like that and themselves removed the strike. Vox/The Verge is just taking credit to make themselves look better trying to be like "Oh we accidentally copyright striked some channels and we will remove the strikes"
ALSO Kyle's character was not really racist as he is half Asian (It is CLEARLY obvious that he is not White/Black/Hispanic/Latino or whatever and if you watch his channel his full Asian grandparents have appeared on his channel SO MANY TIMES) and his character was just a stereotypical Chinese guy speaking really broken English and by the looks of things this was just some random thing they managed to pull out of Kyle's video just to put dirt on him

We should perhaps start also issuing strikes to companies that abuse the copyright system. If they claim something that is fair use, then they get a strike. If they get 3 or more they get flagged for copyright abuse and and cant file copyright claims for however long is deemed appropriate. Just to make them stop claiming everything with impunity, encourage them to only file when they are absolutely sure its infringement

Rich, last night the guy from tech yes city spoke about it and showed how you and Kyle used the entire video of the verge with edits and that the two of you did fell under the fair use law because it was clear that you and Kyle were not doing anything wrong and CZcams seriously needs to start pushing the rules evenly

Always antistatic surface
Cable ties no tweezers
Screwdriver no hopefully swiss army knife with screwdriver
Antistatic Wristband that connects to the ground no plastic wristband that connects nowhere
IO shield no brace in most motherboards ram at slots USUALLY 1,3 OR 2,4 with a space between first for Dual Channel and push both ends CONSULT YOUR MOTHERBOARD MANUAL
DDR4 with 2666 Mhz is not fast is standard CONSULT YOUR MOTHERBOARD MANUAL usually the first PCI Express is x16 that connects electrically to CPU directly the others go through Chipset CONSULT YOUR MOTHERBOARD MANUAL
Also make sure all the brackets required by your cooler to install and in some cases a backplate (to match the height needed to make contact with the CPU) are inatalled before the motherboard in the case
There are no isolating pads to the Power Supply or PSU they are vibration dumpeners
CPU Socket no holder/slot and carefully match the cpu mark (golden triangle or black dot) with the mark in the socket and place it delicately to the socket DON'T USE APPLICATORS
PSU (power supply unit) fan must face to a position that gets air
If you are using a radiator or AIO NEVER USE THE LONG SCREWS WITHOUT A FAN BETWEEN BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY ARE GOING TO DRILL/PERFORATE THE RADIATOR
With the PSU if you have a modular one be carefull of what cables you use and use the ones you need
CPU coolers come with thermal paste pre-installed for the first time either use it the way it is which is perfectly fine or clean it with ISOPROPYL alcohol and apply thermal paste not the way it's showing also (ReviewTechUSA the pre-installed is thermal paste not thermal pad)
The best practice for years to put thermal paste is A PIE SIZE IN THE CENTER or A GRAIN OF RICE or A LINE BASED ON YOUR CPU DIE IS POSITION look for X-rays of your cpu to identify the way the pressure will spread evenly the paste or SPREAD IT YOUR SELF (with a SPATULA or CREDIT CARD)
Also used all the screws with your cooler in a cross patern if applicable like in the AIO all 4 thump screws

One thing I don’t understand though is why CZcams doesn’t have something in place to penalize individuals or companies for making false copyright claims. Those who abuse the system should have some have some kind of strike put on their channel and after a certain amount of strikes, the channel gets taken down. It’s crazy to me how a company like this is able to abuse the copyright system because they they didn’t like a video and it made them look bad

I just found out about this whole Verge PC build and your channel and all the drama behind this. THIS SHOULD BE A NETFLIX SERIES.
I like how this "Sorry. Not sorry" apology was hidden in a section of the site that seemingly can't be found from the main portion of the Verge's website. I tried to pull up the apology to read myself and also show it to a friend and couldn't find it on their site and then had to come back and find it by using the link Rich has in the description.
