Very good video!!! Im using this strategy for over 8 months and is very good, and at the beggining i made that mistake of going to the second half and waiting and waiting.......But now i move on to another game after first half or in Max, leave it a few minutes in second half ,if the goal doesnt go in im out. Another thing that i saw in your video dispiting the red card to Fiorentina( i was in that game) i started to back Fiorentina, but changed my mind 5 min before the red card, because they were not creating any danger. In this cases, i normaly go Lay (as i did) because Fiorentina had zero shots on target. It doesn´t mean that they dont equalize but normaly on a game like this the underdog scores first. But congratulations for the video.

Thanks for the tips on exit points. I have done this but without exit points. This gave me memories of last WC and 2014-15 football season. I was good at reading games that time, turned £250 to £6000+ in 3-4 months and lost all and more in few days as I started to chase losses. After that loss I just got scared to do anything on match odds. I usually used let it run for goal or ft as I didn't have any strategy. After this video I will try again with this method. Hopefully I can do same in this WC too and following season just not losing all haha :)

Just like to say a huge thank you for your videos man! I put your strategys to the test today on a few games and ended up doubling my money, I used the domination method and the under 2.5 goals and had auto cash out on the under 2.5 goals set to 10% profit and its working wonderfully, just had a big win on my first domination one too so thank you very much man! Thanks. Just followed the strategy in the Wolfsburg vs Kiel game. 10 mins Wolfsburg absolutely dominant 2 mins later boom a goal. Makes a change from just laying the draw as my go to trade.
Brilliant Gary, when you pick them well the goal usually comes quick.
I use this strategy at least once a day, usually in the 2nd half from 60 minutes onwards. Great video! If I see a dominant team or a very busy first 15 minutes I just back FH Over 0.5 goals and then you are covered for a goal either way. What is sooo great about this video is that you show what to do & that it is ok to take a loss. Brilliant!

I like the brutal honesty of these videos. This one makes clear you have to be able to read a game, so that's me out. If you can read a game, you still lose a lot of the time, probably too often, but the joy of in-play strats for those who peddle them is that they are not back-testable.
Oh, and I nearly forgot, this is just a come-on for a very expensive trading "course".

I am very new to this, and find it very helpful and informative..I used this last night on the Wales v Poland game, after about 15 minutes, Wales were dominating so I stuck a tenner on them (told you I am new) as they had 65% possession, as the first half wore on Poland came more into the game and I cashed out for a just under £2 loss ..I decided to use the £8 on the lay the draw and early in the second half Poland scored, so happy to take a little profit there...

Great video used one of yours and tweeted it a bit and been winning. only problem with this one is the premier league domination means nothing. did you watch man city vs tottenham last weekend. Man city was all over them. last time I ever bet a accumulator. happens too much in the premier league, We was all over Norwich yesterday and they nearly got a result..

Hi Kyle at the mo I'm still taking it all in. I have however tried Lay the Draw on Betfair some weeks ago using low stakes £10 and LTD after 60 mins I made profit on the 1st 3 but after that I found myself picking the first games that appeared on betfair and not researching the game and like Ben Micheals said this is a classic newbie mistake so I backed off. I suppose I'm breaking even at the moment. Since then Ben has brought out more videos so not sure which one to start on next.
Kyle Austin-Andrew so far I’m using the lay-the-draw (LTD) at £10 stakes after half time and yesterday I used the domination method waited a few minutes after the start then backed England £50 waited for the 1st goal then cashed out for £16 profit 👍
And Bayern won. They scored 3 goals, Will try your strategy! :)
Tried this in the Galatasaray v Fenerbahce match today. Very profitable.

love how you title this video, i guess none of the other strategies work then just this one lol, simply put betfair is a run down playground and as a trader we turn up with our bag of tools (strategies) and select the right tool for the job, all strategies work but as a trader its down to you to fit the right one to the right game

Any videos on pre game trading . Backing a team for a decent stake a few days before then hoping they get backed come game day ? It will take some leg work tho as you’ll have to keep a close eye on weather the opposing teams tip scorer gets injured mid week or something

The Red Card
A red card to the strong favourite team in the first half can be a good thing.
Basically it slows the game down for a good while.
what i would do is back the unders market for a while, look at some past results you will see im right, they tend to end up low scoring matches too

Would it not be fair to say that if the in play stats suggest dominance of one team and their price has started to steam that that is enough to get involved without live pictures (since the steam would be based on other people who are watching the action)? Or would you say that is too risky?
Hey mouse2799, I think the edge with this strategy really comes from seeing the live pictures and getting the full story. I would definitely want that before putting my money in the market with a method like this.
Although, you could look for what you mentioned and THEN look at the live pictures to see if it confirms your view before getting involved. I do this often since we obviously can not be everywhere at once.
Sometimes, when the domination was so clearly during the first half, for example, in the game of Hannover and Bayern, that you showed, I wait until the 60' minutes. There were lots of times that I closed after the end of the first half, and then, the dominating team scored in the beggining of the second half.

I do use software when trading but for the video demonstrations I like to keep to the Betfair interface. Makes it easier for newbies to understand :)

One option is to wait and see if the dominant team equalises. This would depend on how dominant they are. Otherwise cashing out straight after the goal is the safest way.

Hi Guys, I'm new to the topic. I am not understanding one thing.
1. Lay on the favorite team;
2. The assisted team scores;
3. Profit is generated.
4. When and Why Bank?
You lay on the dominant team after it scores. You can either hope the team wins or cash out smaller amount in play.
It's like bingo... I call this strategy 'staring 45 minutes in two ows with final result always on minus' Edit: or even 49 minutes xD.
I think you have to take into account that the actual losses are higher and the profits are lower due to the commission you pay to Betfair. For Non-UK this is 6.5% of your stake, whether you win or lose

Hi James, no it is not as simple as that. The domination method would rely more on your reading of the match. The stats are not so important but were presented here to show how much possession they had. In real life situations, the possession could be 50-50 but if you have a strong in-play read on a team then you would back them with this sort of method. There are no set stats to follow with this sort of trade.
What if you place a 100 £ LAY Draw bet before kick off .. And the score at half time is 1-0 or 0-1 and i Cash Out at half time . Will i have a profit then ? And if so how much profit £ 50 - 60 £ ?
Henry Lindkvist Thing is the draw price is quite high in the first half so quite expensive to lay. Also if the underdog scores the market might think a draw is more likely cos the favourite might get back into it

Would it make sense to back the dominant team to win at half time as that is when you will exit the strategy... much bigger prices to back and potentially much lower prices once dominant team scores... just a thought :)
You would then lose 100% stake should they not score though? Seems just a gamble rather than a trade.

This is a first half strategy.
Unless you mean lay the draw in the half-time market? If that is the case then the risk is much higher if it ends 0-0 at half time, you could lose 100% or more in that case.

If the team is really dominating it can make the 0-0 stick for a while and bear in mind if the dog scores you are losing on two markets.
Robbie Scrivener yeah, you could get double shafted if the dog scores but looking at man city games, just having £2 on the 0-0 Can net you some decent money. Just adds a little insurance on games you can get a good return on the 0-0
Probably wouldn't want to use this on a Man City match since they are usually priced so low. I would want 1.50 or above so it makes it more worth the risk.
