Lisicki was such a joy to watch! The best combination of an absolute powerhouse on the court and the sweetest player on the tour in interviews. Holding nothing back, it's no wonder the crowd & commentary orbited around her the whole time. Genuinely smiling even when she lost a point to either a silly mistake or a good play by her opponent is so rare, but is the nicest thing to watch. I don't think I've ever wanted someone to win the title more.

As somebody who followed closely Radwanska's career, I dare to say it was the most painful loss in her entire career. Bartoli was never capable to win against Aga. Radwanska with having a lead in the final set here, it was the closest she has ever been to win any slam and her favourite tennis tournament.
Sabine was soooo popular and an absolute sweetheart. It would be a fairytale if she could overcome her injury woes and blast her way through Wimbledon again. Dreams though.

Last year after getting over injuries she was diagnosed with "Mononucleosis and at the end of the year just got the all clear to start training again. It' so easy to judge people without knowing the true story. She's also a 30 year old who's won over 7 million dollars in prize money, so somehow I think she's pretty well known
