      Thanks- making these videos are as fun as the model building - although its a challenge at times as well

    This was as suspenseful as a Hitchcock movie. I was holding my breath until the part was in place.
    Thank you for sharing. You make it look easy. Experience helps, I know.
    Till the next time.

      I'm thrilled you found the video suspenseful! Hitchcock certainly knew how to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Your kind words mean a lot, and yes, experience does play a big role. Looking forward to having you back for the next one!

    I am glad that you show the build even when you mess up, unlike others who do modeling here on you tube, your videos give modelers like me hope in showing that mistakes happen and you just move on thru , thank you again for a great video

      Absolutely! Mistakes are such a crucial part of the learning process, aren't they? I'm really glad you appreciate the transparency in my videos. Modeling, like any craft, involves its fair share of trial and error. Showing those mishaps and how to overcome them not only makes the final product more relatable but also helps others realize that perfection isn't the goal; progress is. Keep experimenting, keep learning, and most importantly, keep enjoying the journey! Thanks a lot for your kind words and for being part of this community of modelers.

    Another great video. I’m guessing the painting was a bugger. With some sub assemblies like this, how often do you paint individual pieces before gluing?

    • @JETScaleModels
      @JETScaleModels  Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you! Painting can indeed be a bit of a challenge, especially with intricate subassemblies like this one. When it comes to painting individual pieces before assembly, it really depends on the complexity and accessibility of the parts. For subassemblies where access is limited once glued, I tend to paint individual pieces beforehand to ensure thorough coverage and detail. It's all about finding that balance between ease of painting and ease of assembly. Experimenting with different approaches can help find what works best for each project. Thanks for bringing up this important aspect of modeling!

    Sorry, had to add, a tank you might find interesting is the Takom M3A1 Lee with the CDL, and a Canadian unit as well. I have one in the stash, with the CDL, it would make a great addition. And with that giant light, if you were able to get it illuminated, an amazing display unit.
    Do you have an email address? I didn’t see one listed in the details section. Unless of course you prefer to be under the radar.

      While the LEE and GRANT kits are intriguing, I'd lean towards the Miniart versions myself if I were to dive into them. However I've got quite a backlog to tackle on my channel as well! 😅 Feel free to message me via my Facebook page if you need to reach out.
