Details on Assassin’s Creed Hexe are few and far between. Officially, the series’ Vice President and Executive Producer, Marc-Alexis Côté, alluded that the game will be different from past entries and developed by Ubisoft Montreal. From the game’s official tease, we know that it will lean heavily into witchcraft, with the game rumored to be set in Central Europe during the 16th-century Holy Roman Empire (via Bloomberg).
Insider Gaming understands that the game is still in a relatively early stage of development and is expected to be released in 2026 on the Infinity platform. Hexe is understood to be a more linear experience compared to its predecessors with some elements of open-world exploration, somewhat akin to some of the earlier Assassin’s Creed games. As already reported by Insider Gaming, Hexe is poised to have a single female protagonist, currently named Elsa, who has some supernatural abilities.
While details on all of her abilities are unclear, footage sent to Insider Gaming under the condition that it not go public shows off one of these abilities. In the footage, Elsa is seemingly being hunted by 16th-century German soldiers (image of what the soldiers look like here) and uses a spell to possess a nearby cat. The player then controls the cat and uses it to distract the soldiers by knocking over a glass bottle, which smashes on the ground and diverts the soldier’s attention. The gameplay provided to Insider Gaming depicts a dark and gloomy setting in the cobbled streets of the city. - Hry
Too bad they don't want me to own it
Ubisoft's director Philippe Tremblay said that players should get used to not owning their games( never forget )
I'm fine not owning my games just like I'm fine with microtransaction, dlc and live service-games stop complaining you sound poor 😅😂
@@MiaTheXGhostFr like he ain’t spend thousands of dollars on destiny
Also don’t forget that they just took away the crew because “you don’t own your games”
Just like Bethesda said fallout 76 had 16 times the details or was that 16 times the bugs and glitches and there recent game WOKEfiled as long as Ubisoft releases the Assassin's Creed games on disc and I hope this Assassin's Creed red or what ever then name of that game will eventually be called I just hope it isn't a side scroller
I've been used to not owning Ubisoft games for about a decade. Last game of theirs I bought was Farcry 3.
Assassin Witches!
Sounds great but I don't trust Ubisoft.
Two videos in one day. Feeling kind of spicy
Another cringe ending to the video, you never disappoint!
Two Meth master, PlayStation King Dreamcastguy videos in the same day? We, your loyal PS5 team are truly blessed. You are the reason we are winning the console war! Go Dreamcastguy, yes!!!
Can’t wait for hexe to come out. Odyssey and Valhalla are the best assassins creed games
A lot of people think the idea of her ""using magic"" is too far off Lore
I think it's just a Piece of Eden we haven't seen yet
They tried going back to the old style assassins creed with Mirage and it didn’t turn out so great. People look at the old assassins creeds through rose tinted glasses because they haven’t aged well. Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla were great games.
Dreamcast Guy, the new AC Hexe makes me think of a perfect mix of the old school and the new school, in the IP. That’s makes me think also, to the brand new Star Wars… with the pet’s mechanics… And the cat’s mechanics in AC HEXE… So,….
This one and the AC red are the ones i want to see in Ubisoft forward
giving watchdog legion a 9 is insane lmao
That's what I said. Now I'm sick too. Just the thought of anyone liking Watch Dogs Legion makes my stomach turn.
@@GregoryAlanBaileygamereviews it's super uninspired... it can be fun at times but the game is very boring most of the time
@@ChaseSchleich I like legion, but partly because I don't have a set protagonist who is annoying and in your face, like ubisoft always give us these days. AC odyssey's Kassandra? Forget it. She was just annoying, and I didn't even play as her, yet she still ended up annoying me in valhalla! My point is, legion is a fun enough game, that is just good, yet also it has any character as the protagonist, so you don't have to put up with rubbish characters like Darcy for example.
Ubisoft are like the simpsons some have fond memories of old stuff but anyone with sense wanted them to stop 10 years ago or more.
You're goddamn right!👍
Take care! Hope you get better soon!
This magic hopefully ties into isu tech
still dont understand why ubisoft sleeping on a samurai themed AC game, wtf are they waiting for ?
cus it would take effort, skill and hard work. and ubisoft has none of that
They are making one💀
hi DreamcastGuy
I bet that Ubisoft is taking our German history of witch hunting into absurdity.
I was surprised at how much I liked Syndicate and Odyssey, but otherwise I haven't been into it since Black Flag. I haven't tried Mirage yet, but I might at some point.
Big AC fan and was looking forward to this one but not into magic, so Im out. I should've twigged there would be magic, I mean the clue was in the name. Duh.
Not ready for another samurai game but maybe by the time it comes out. Unless they announce Ghost of Tsushima 2 in which case I'll pass again lol.
Was excited for this but they don't want me to own it. Pass
i really liked this franchise tbh. not just AC but also farcry. i get it ok. they make sequels, same game with minor changes, same mechanics. but thats how i find it enjoyable. while its a similar game, its has a different whole new world. what more improvements could u want? all the soulborne games are the same shts but we all love but this one is not? maybe thats just me, i just sort to adapt things that's why i cant hate games that much anymore. the only thing that can make me criticize a game is when it full of bugs and glitches like cyberpunk.
You make a great point in exposing gamers in their hypocrisy. The souls games vs. AC games is a perfect observation.
Gaming has always brought bully culture. It never ends. The one who is abused will slowly become their abuser.
It's pronounced Hex-eh. And the Holy Roman Empire is today Germany.
Hexe = witch in German
wtf are you on about, where the whole of western europe was roman empire : north of italy, part of france, belgium, netherlands, germany, austria, swiss. Yes hexe the word is indeed still being used in germany but its not a german name. Its a germanic name, and like all the germanic languages has found its origin in a mix between old scandinavian and the dialects in western europe 500BC.... For example in germany its hex-eh in dutch another germanic language its heks same pronounciation just written with a ks instead of x.
Fun lesson by the way but the way its written in dutch is the old old old old version. As there was no x in 500bc the X got added to the germanic languages after it got brought over from our greek influences
In other words yes the game is set during the roman empire in the 16th century accross western europe. But germany in that was just like any other country.
Its like hey look germany people and forget that it was just the whole of western europe. See a word a go hey german.. While its a germanic word used in all germanic languages in western europe.
@@crux891 the Holy Roman Empire is basically german speaking countries.
the name even change in 1500 in which year the game plays, from the holy roman empire to holy roman empire of german nation.
@@Elvoip001 Basically german speaking countries? Right except... : Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, much of Italy, and parts of France, Denmark, and Poland. The reason for the name change you talk about had nothing to do german speaking countries. The name had to do with the council of the estates. See it as a holy parlement. In that parlement where more german speaking bischops assigned then any of the other languages. And that is where the name change got voted.
Basicly nationalistic priests that went hmmz we want the whole of western europe now to be called holy roman empire of the german nation. That was it. It had nothing to do with germany in itself,Nor where those countries german speaking at that time. Belgium was french and flemish like it is now, netherlands was dutch like it is still dutch, france was french and the north of italy was a mixture of a germanic dialect and latin. Just like now sud tirol for example is german with a mix of italian.
Honestly I hope they don’t kill the watch dog franchise in my opinion I like it more then gta it was just different it had more sauce then gta but I guess Ubisoft don’t wanna make money all they had to do is make a soft reboot give us a game what Aiden did after the end of watch dog 1 or make Jackson a main character where he take the mantel of the fox so many ideas but they ain’t thinking they could of even make jordi cause he was character that had fun in him
I don’t know how any classic AC fan could ever think this sounds great lol
Playing as a Witch, casting spells etc.. I am failing to see how this sounds ANYTHING like classic AC (in DCG words) 😅
Unfortunately I have no more interest in anything with the Ubisoft stench in it.
Until they walk back their bullshit policies that they are employing lately I have no intention of spending another cent on a Ubisoft game.
The AC franchise is a disaster now, they destroyed their own lore and they got so carried away with Valhalla that its not even Assassins vs Templars anymore, its just a mythological rpg series. I gave them one last chance with Mirage and they let me down again, it was a great series while it lasted.
Hell yea I love this news! Can’t wait to have my games taken away from me anytime they decide!🥳
You don't mind putting hundreds of hours into Dragon's Dogma and Final Fantasy, but prefer to play AC as a 10-20 hour game. Seems unfair for the developers. I do agree that the new RPG games have some bloat, but they are far from being bad games. I enjoyed them more than I expected. It was Valhalla that kind of felt more of a drag towards the end. The story I didn't mind, but the pacing was bad. I think the Viking setting is just not my cup of tea. I also didn't like how a lot of the doors are now locked.
I'm an old school AC fan who adapted to the new style games, but I always wonder when a new game comes out. Will this be my last AC? I'm looking forward to Red because I wanted that style of AC for a long time, plus it's being done by the Odyssey team which was my favorite of the RPG trilogy. While you liked AC Mirage, I wasn't feeling it at all. I didn't like the new combat system and the location. My least favorite AC games are the ones set in the boring drab Arabic locations like Revelations. I prefer the high rise building landscapes of locales like Italy and France.
I think if Red plays like Mirage, it might actually be my last AC game. I played all of them up to this point, but can finally see the sun starting to set.
Sound dope I love ac so I'm all for it
I love Valhalla but dang im 89 hours in it’s starting to get stagnant
The combat/animations in mirage kind of sucked though. Actually most of assassins creed combat blows, should’ve tried to continue improving the free flow from the original or go full soulslike
Origins was good. Especially the explore mode.
possessing a cat... really?... heres an interesting story synopsis is if this is the introduction to The Instrument's of the first will cult being the main antagonist seeking those with Isu blood to commune with Juno and do her bidding's , but the Templars and their power and goals at the time is the reason the witch hunt trials are happening for whatever templar gain, apples of eden, hidden temples heavely involved hopefully, interactions with Juno that we didn't know about. introduce some Isu correlations something new and fresh I wanna steer away from the Aesir Reincarnation arc we gotta bring in some stuff like in the canon comics, what's up with Desmond's son Elijah after Juno's Assassination type stuff
Not gonna pay for something they can just retire when they feel like it. No thanks
Hex sounds amazing
This is the only ac I have faith in
I hope it’ll be a unity theme
New realistic animations
Dark detailed map
Gripping story
I hope that Assassin's Creed red or what ever the name of that game will be i hope it's like the Awesome Sony PlayStation Exclusive Ghost Of Tsushima or like the other Assassin's Creed games either the older ones or newer ones and not a side scroller
This isn't what I want from AC
Whaaaat? An assassins creed game got leaked? That almost never happens!
To be honest, if you are a gamer with a family. 20-30 hrs is a sweet spot! Grind and bloat is tough when you got mouths to feed.
How is having a family related to having a hobby? Are you really that busy? Don't lie.
@@RepugnanciaDulzona 24 hours in a day. 100’s of hours means something else has to be sacrificed. You may be better at managing gaming and parenting than me. Not everyone’s situation. Everyone should absolutely make time for hobbies. I personally want a game I can complete fairly quick or that is hyper focused.
@@johnkeithworld you're right about the sacrifices, I feel you
@@RepugnanciaDulzona Trust me I am working on creating revenue that both frees me up totally and fuels this beautiful hobby of gaming! 🤙

DO NOT!! trust Ubisoft anymore, when it happened before it will happen again
Looks good feel better
They should delve into more fantasies/realism genres
Shat happened with ac metaverse
Will it be $200 or $300. That is excluding the $2000 worth of microtransactions
Ubisoft doesn’t deserve our MONEY!!
He gets to the point at 3:00
I'm good on ALL of this and I'm not buying into Ubisoft not wanting us to own our game
U will buy it anyway
@@dhruvo100 YOU will
@@thedemonyooshii5270 nope, not like u
You're definitely wrong about that then, cause I haven't bought shit from Ubi since the division and haven't touched an ac game since Unity
The AC franchise need to evolve and sure that AC engine needs improve, so AC so far is more of the same except for the last one, now I wonder it will be kinda hellblade?
Elsa? Magic Abilities? I smell Frozen, Disney will Sue ^_^
The next ac is this year, this one is 2026
Sounds promising though yeah... It's Ubisoft. Ubisoft will find a way to ruin it. I'm also not really looking forward to AC RED. Ghost of Tsushima and Rise of the Ronin did Open World Japan so goddamn good that Ubisoft probably can't compete with that setting.
So glad it's not set in Japan 😁 Such an overused place. If you are going to do east Asia, ancient do Korea, Philippines... Literally anywhere else
Ubisoft make the same game since 2007
At this point all the female assassins solo cause of feminism
100%
Everyone knocks Ubi but still plays all their games smh
Not going to lie, "Assassin's Creed Magical Witch Girl" sounds lame as fuck.
It's a "well we gotta try something" approach. Ubisoft has no idea what they're doing anymore and at this point they're just throwing shit at the wall in the hopes that something sticks.
@@ChaseSchleichthat's exactly what this sounds like. Like they pulled shit out of a hat. "Uhh yeah I pulled witches. Can we make witches work?"
If it’s anything like Valhalla I will love it, I don’t care what anyone says that’s the best AC game…then Black Flag.
The only thing is why would i wanna play as a woman i mean i get its sexist but at the same time its major hypocrisy cause if a girl wants to play as a girl its okay but if im a guy that wants to be a guy im sexist?
The Ubisoft we knew and loved died a long time ago, Assassin's Creed hasn't been a good franchise for a long time either. And about Watch Dogs, Ubisoft made all the wrong moves, this IP had enormous potential.
Who cares about Ubisoft.
It explains why their logo looks a toilet bowl flushing
Bro we do it need another assassin's creed, this is B. S from ubusoft now, they make no alternative games, it doesn't matter how much they try to re pain a wall with different pain it's going to be the same wall, they nerd to change their name as a company to Ubicreed
Actual magic in my AC game developed by Ubisoft, one of the least trustworthy companies of all time? The actual magic in an AC game was a no, with Ubisoft's name attached it's a quadruple no.
Everyone knows classic AC is horrendous and the newer direction is far superior and why last years release was a huge flop! 😂
what makes a leak hefty?
As bloated and needlessly long as AC Valhalla was, I still really enjoyed that game and I absolutely loved the lite settlement building mechanics and the raid + mercenary system. I think Ubisoft can totally keep the AC franchise going as long as they make sure each game has its own identity, unique mechanics, and much much shorter play time. The “now you’re climbing shit in a different country” motif got stale years and years ago. Innovation is key. Ubisoft making a comeback is good for the industry at large. We want more competition and fresh titles even if they are sequels.
Porn bots in the comments lol
At this point why even call it Assassin Creed! Just make a new franchise and if it is great people will embrace it!
One word, money.
Im waiting for them to make a new rainbow six game and shut down siege servers 🤭
i liked watchdogs 1 and 2 moreover than the later modern assassins creed games (anything after AC4BF) but watchdogs legions was so marred with problems and the plot so boring i avoided it like a plague. Watchdogs should be revived and be more like a technological GTA game instead of that crappy cyberpunk wannabe. We want Aiden and T-Bone (and Marcus to some extent) back on a better looking realistic current day city, imagine watchdogs tokyo or new york. Ubisoft execs are idiots, they have Gold with watchdogs and they are letting it just melt away...
Ubisoft can't make good games anymore. They're dead, like bethesda and so many others.
Bethesda? Their in their prime. Any one of their games is better than any crap ps5 exclusive Story based trash
Avatar frontiers of pandora was an amazing game!
Triple A games are like the icecream machine that not been cleaned out, eveything that comes out of it tastes wrong and nobody wants to open it up and scrub it down.
@@kevinjones9713oh dear, do you poor soul know which year this is?
@@kevinjones9713the only game I like from them is fallout 4 other then that I’m not spending my hard earned money on a game where the protagonist ain’t voice
I hated classic assassins creed, only got good with Black Flag. Thankfully Hexe doesn't sound too much like Classic Assassins Creed
Oh shut up, I LOVED it just the way they did it!
You can't just take a piece of art and be satisfied the way THEY made it?
Les dan poco contenido: no les gusta. Les dan gran cantidad de contenido: no les gusta. Ya tuvieron su dosis de miseria con Mirage, dejen de quejarse porque los juegos son grandes. Ahora todo les duele.
Lol gamers being typical sheep that will forget any scams like $150 ultimate editions and the fact they boycotted a company when they announce almost anything they have remotely any interest.. I mean yall do yall xD but Assassins Greed became just another CoD and Pokemon a looong time ago, yall will just be disappointed, complain, talk about where the soul is cause it's lacking, so on and so forth cycle continues, I only played AC1, but this is all I hear on the internet, I'm just responding to what I hear.
AC: Immortals of Aveum. No thanks
Really ... huhh... ??
Dreamcastguy is sick
Me: maybe he dies😊
Assassins creed Hexe definitely doesn’t sound like classic Assassins creed 🤦♂️
Killing by courts is future assassinry. Modern character assassination in plain sight before they make murder look like suicide.
Sorry I love long games I can't stand short games I feel like I Wasted my money on a short game
How do you give Watch Dogs Legion a 9, tgats the worst in the series LoL
🙄 hate giving assassin creed just any kind of powers now at least the powers back then were just one piece and it was like two missions
Nah I’m good.
Honestly sounds awful. Hexe is ridiculous already.
Ubisoft game? The ones who don't want you owning the games you purchase? Ha, hard pass.
Does she have ice powers? 😒
she is a strooooooong whaman
not excited for anything ubisoft or any company that is doing stuff for modern audiences.
NOPE. Never ever trust anything from Ubisoft
Magic in assassin's creed... No thanks!
I am the opposite, I loved Valhalla, Odyssey and Origins but I did not like Mirage, Mirage was clunky with a mediocre to crap story with horrible combat mechanics. I loved the rgp and exploration elements of valhalla, Odyssey and Origins.
If this new game is like Mirage I'll pass, I will wait for the longer RPG one coming.
You gave Watch Dogs Legion a 9?! Did we play a different game because Legion was god damned awful. Loved Watch Dogs 2, but Legion was repetitive and ungodly boring because we can't become attached to any character. Feeling attachment to a character or characters is what causes us to get enveloped in a story and what makes us care about what happens. You can't care about what happens in Watch Dogs Legion because you don't care about the characters because there aren't any characters, just empty shells with a couple of abilities assigned to them (not even original abilities seeing as multiple "characters" share similar abilities). If you don't care about the characters in a world, you don't care about the world. If you don't care about the world, then why try and stop bad things from happening in that world?
I dont have faith in Ubisoft anymore. AC Mirage was so boring and mediocre. I will never get another game from them unless I hear thats it's amazing
So u gonna make a video about how grounded runs worse on Playstation? 🤔🤣🤣🤣
The magic and supernatural stuff has been the issue with the last two mainline games, why would they make another one with these elements?
This is already sounding like something I would not be interested in playing. The whole reason most people got into Assassins Creed is because of the historical settings. The pieces of Eden always loomed in background but they were never front and center for most of the story. Now that this is taking place post Ezio where again the pieces of Eden are scarcely known about and the Isu basically forgotten about, they are going to make a game where both are the central theme of the story? I think this is a bad move.
Out of the three RPG entries, origins did it right. The pieces of Eden and all the supernatural elements didn’t become a part of the story until the end or in the DLC’s.
New AC sounds pretty gay.
Must you phrase it that way it 2024 using the word guy as a negative descriptor is last century and makes our community sound as bad as the MSM say we are please do better
more woke UBISOFT bs ...hard pass
Valhalla is a good game
I thought so as well
There are good parts but, I personally think the game at it’s core is bad. Gameplay has gotten significantly worse since Origins and the game is such a grind to play. Some pretty cool story moments and music, but the gameplay was the weakest aspect for me.
More trash from bugsoft mao
