- Polanco is the wealthiest neighbourhood in Mexico City and is well known for it's luxury shopping, upscale hotels and restaurants, and the high net worth individuals that live there. Avenida Presidente Masaryk is a trendy street in Polanco and it's also recognized as Mexico's most expensive street. We'll also be visiting Museo Soumaya which is a private museum in CDMX, owned by one of the world's billionaires and Mexico's richest man, Carlos Slim. I hope you guys enjoy this vlog!

Comparing Polanco to Beverly Hills is disrespectful. There's no comparison at all. Polanco is way much older, full of culture, rich and luxurious.

Comparing Beverly Hills to Polanco is not at all disrespectful. On the contrary, it’s undeserved flattery to Polanco, if nothing else. Beverly Hills is world famous being home to many celebrities and ultra-rich people. Polanco is relatively unknown outside Mexico as are its residents. I’ve been to both and know the difference.
Besides, Polanco is NOT Mexico’s wealthiest neighborhood.
It is disrespectful to Beverly Hills. BH is a lot richer in terms of pure wealth and has a lot more upscale areas compared to Polanco or anywhere in the world for that matter

I lived on the edge of BHills. Some have said Palanco makes Beverly Hills look like a slum 😁. Have wanted to see "Carlos Slim " museum for a decade +. The architecture alone is breath taking. Funded and built to honor his wife and thank the Mexican people it had a great vibration from the start. Soon!.. Gracias you for the footage.

La verdad es que donde viven los millonarios en mexico no te dejan entrar. La seguridad es muy estricta. Por eso jamás ven videos de esos lugares.. Imagínense donde vive Carlos slim enseñando por donde entra o sale. Mucho riesgo de seguridad
Pero también te sorprendería saber que muchos ricos si están por ahí y ni te enterarías. La cuestión con Slim es que es famoso y por eso se cuida de los reflectores, pero hay miles de ricos que pasan desapercibidos.

Amazing video!! I just wanted to point out that Mr. sushi is a very cheap commercial restaurant, there are a ton of other restaurants in Polanco that cost way more, a normal dinner there could cost up to 400$ USD for 2 people.

Hmm… that’s kinda Rodeo Drive, and an old money zone, but the «Beverly Hills» would be Lomas de Chapultepec, Pedregal de San Angel, Santa Fe, things like that.

That’s sushi from a chain. You need to go to the restaurants that do not look like restaurants. Those are truly expensive and sometimes worth the try.

Love the video but it's not "hands down" the most expensive street on Mexico. There are plenty other areas around Mexico City and Monterrey that are far more exclusive and therefore, expensive. They also don't have easy access to public transportation or are completely private.
I hope you can keep traveling and showing more of a cool México, just don't advertise it as like the most expensive area when is just a normal area for regular people. And yeah, they have expensive places around there, but normal people go there regularly.

Polanco is not home of the super rich, its lomas and santafe
it has a lot of expensive apartments and condominiums, but not houses. the wealthy single family home areas are lomas and santa fe for sure though.
Polanco is the most expensive neighborhood in Mexico per square meter... and I know that because I work for Sotheby's International Realty here in Polanco. And yes, the superrich also live in Polanco, specially the Ruben Darío street which is the most exclusive and expensive street to live in México because is in front of the biggest public park in the world: Bosque de Chapultepec. Twice as big as Central Park.

No es la colonia mas rica de México o en donde mas vive gente rica. De hecho Polanco vendria siendo clase media alta en general. Los verdaderos ricos de CDMX viven en Bosques Pedregal o en esos suburbios de mansiones de la alcaldía Miguel Hidalgo. Lo que si es cierto es que seguramente debe haber mucha gente rica conviviendo en ese barrio, pues como mencionas esta lleno de marcas para gente de clase media alta en adelante.

The ultra rich doesn't live in Polanco, that's a medium class neighborhood, really rich people of the city live in places where you cant even access or walk around such as lots of different areas in Interlomas, Santa Fe, Zona Esmeralda and Lomas. Polanco is where that rich people have their businesses and their executive employees live in Polanco.
