jade was never threatened by cat friendship with beck, she liked hanging out with her, she genuinely cared for and trusted cat. Sam enjoyed every day living with cat, no one else would have been able to make a partnership work with sam. so honestly both of them are her best friends.

What's iconic is that Jenette(Sam) and Miranda(Carly) are real-life best friends(they have gotten a lil separated over the years cause uk life happens but they are still pretty close); the same way Ariana(Cat) and Liz(Jade) are real-life best friends!

I would Probably have to go with Jade because Cat knew her for years and they went to the same school together and did a great things for each other and being supportive. I like Sam too but cat and Jade are first cause they know each other longer and same goes with Sam and Carly.
And Cat was dumber in Sam & Cat so she kept saying that Sam's last name was "Puckle" when Sam kept saying It's Puckett. And Cat became jealous when Sam and Jade became friends and had a lot in common so she invited Freddie up to L.A. to make Sam mad

I honestly think it's Sam, she lived with cat. And cat didn't just have jade as a friend in the school she had robbie, tori, beck and Andre she was her own person like a free spirit at the time of victorious, she got on with everybody and didn't have favourites so jade wasn't even her bestfriend on victorious. If cat had to choose a bestfriend I honestly think it would be robbie. Sam did alot more to defend cat, like getting herself arrested to be with cat when they stole that money and also peezy b she hit him when cat was upset.
