  • The federal government just outlawed travel on thousands of miles of land and is seeking more. Here are the links to fight back... you need to comment on the first two links, please.

Carl, all the routes out there have a route number. You go to the interactive map and click the route and it comes up with a number like this. Route ID: 37GV138.100. That is that route number you need to put in your comment of what you don’t want closed and why. It’s redundant but you would have to do that for every route out there.

It’s engineered that way trust me. Alex with IDPR sent me some PDF maps and they are on there as well, just not the full ID number. And there are so many trails that cross over each other it’s really hard to read. Intersctive map is best and if you use CalTopo you can import the PDF map and show the routes you ride on over the PDF map. You then can look at the interactive map and pull the route numbers from that. If anyone needs help in learning how to do that, I am more than willing to help. Just let me know!! I’m here to help out riding community anyway that I can. I also have a link for proper NEPA comments that will get you the best bang for your buck when it comes to commenting.

It's about their plan to force everyone to move into their 15 minute cities by limiting freedom of movement.. like forcing you to buy an EV

Which map should people look for? There are a ton on the blm site and a search of “grand view” doesn’t bring it up. There are some owyhee maps, but it’s hard to tell.

I don’t think they care if we write in. People need to start packing and create a hostile environment for those that are TRYING to take away access to public land. WE have as much right to that land as anyone else. How does the government have the right to tell us we can’t use that land? It’s insane to me.

Being as I have gone through this land use issue to put on an annual two day extreme enduro event that we shut down after 29 years of all volunteer none profit operation, the State of Hawaii lost a average of $200,000 a year in Taxes from riders buying new motorcycles and gear and their family pit crew hotel lodgings, car rentals, food, fuel, and the lot. racing isn't cheap especially riders that came from the Mainland and Europe for this World Class endurance event...not only that most all riding off road riding was fenced off, no where for young beginner riders to learn a sport, they just turned to drugs, we lost new riders due to Meth and Fentanyl.

Oh, give me land lots of land under Sunset skies above
    `
    Don’t fence me in
    `
Let me ride through the wide open country that I love
    `
    Don’t fence me in
    `
Just turn me loose to straddle the hard KTM saddle underneath western sunset skies
    `
On my motorcycle, let me haul ass on the gas to climb the mountain rise
    `
I want to ride up the ridge where the West commences
And pull wheelies to the Moon till I loose my senses
And I don’t kowtow to permits and I can’t stand fences

Went out to the NHHA race this past weekend, there was a huge turnout, which is great to see. Racing organizations keep pressure on the BLM to keep our deserts open despite the hoops they have to jump through. Everybody does need to do more though, this is not a fight that has an end point, it's a constant battle for every inch.

Those races need to implement GPX tracking so they can check for route cutting. I heard there was a lot of route cutting by 50ft or more. That is unacceptable!! A GPX route overlay of the race route will show who is cutting and who isn’t. Route cutters should be disqualified with a fine to go with it. I know they have been told over and over.

One of the races just got canceled because the BLM didn't approve the course. It was actually the course i was helping with. The government stepped in and said no, even though they have been putting course out there for many years.

@@ryanmxrdr8867 Yeah, i get pissed on a competition level (course cutting costed me the championship last year). However, i dont think the government should be worrying about it.

      @ryanmxrdr8867 Před 3 měsíci

@@RacerRed I don’t believe they should be either, but they are the people out there taking photos of it happening. There was a race last year where a guy was out taking photos and come to find out it was a BLM guy taking photos of course cutting and using it in there arguments for this very reason to close down areas so yes it does matter. We are giving them even more ammunition to close places down.

Idaho needs to declare emminent Domin over all BLM land in the State and claim it for We the Citizens of Idaho. That land is within Our Borders and must remain accessible for all of us. They are planning vast solar and wind farms on more BLM property and at the same time trying to deny any and all access to those PUBLIC LANDS. Enough of this already.

I believe the comment period is over.Correct me if i am wrong.Evert heard of 30 by 30.30 percent of public land protected by 2030.That means wilderness designation,National monument designation, areas of critical concern, etc. That means no OHVs,no dispersed camping etc.Government over reach. They want as little access as possible to these areas as possible. We are so screwed.
