My tests in 11 days, and mirrors/ blind spots are really confusing me 😔 especially when to check them on roundabouts.
its been 11 months now
In my opinion, many people book their test too early. If you can't drive properly yet, why book it? I passed my all my tests on my first try because I had no doubts.
I’ve passed my test 8 weeks Ago and nearly crashed as my left mirror must have not been wide enough and didn’t see the car in the fast lane in my centre mirror or left mirror so glad I came across this video
You have to find out where your blind spots are. Glad it didn't end badly.

Thanks alot quite educative,would like to ask about the inner mirror,my instructor says to adjust it so I can see a little part of the head rest about 2 fingers and back window but you said to see the whole of the back window,so which would be appropriate to use when taking my driving test?
Hey good question! Your centre mirror should show you the whole of the back window. If you've got it right, in most cars, you'll also see the head rests in the left and right corners. Id suggest clarifying with your instructor what you should see in the centre mirror. It may just be a miscommunication ☺️

Good point to note is on your driving test the examiner can't see what you see in your mirrors so don't stress about it too much. If you're not using them effectively it's quite obvious though so if what you're doing is working don't worry TOO much. But still check so you can be sure you've got the best angle
@@GetDrivingYeah,will do my best to perfect on using the mirrors at the appropriate time cos I tend to forget to use to side mirrors sometimes but am always looking at the inner mirror and also I have to visibly turn my head as I see you do in your videos too, cos I just use my eyes to scan quickly the side mirrors when I do and it will count against me as am told during my test,will continue to watch and learn from your videos till I get it right.
Hi ,my test is coming up in 7 weeks and I still swerve when glancing at the side mirrors. Especially at higher speed. (Had 30+ professional lessons and about 100 hours private practice ). Can you please suggest something or do a video on the issue if possible.

Hi , I’ve noticed your small blind spot mirrors are positioned differently on the left and right mirror ? One is one the inside and one on the outside bottom? Can you explain why :)
Is it ok to adjust your mirrors when doing reverse parking etc so you can see the lines on the parking spot?
nope! you’d have to do it before! it’s a safety hazard adjusting mirrors and driving.
When you are going to turn, make sure you check your rear view first and then the left and right you are going to turn.
Before you signal check your mirrors

Can you help me out I bought a second hand car. The car is great but my left side mirror won't go down any further I think the main problem is seat is too low and I'm tall it dosnt have a way of adjusting the seat height so I can't park please help thanks
Why would you need to check the center mirror when increasing speed? It does make sense to check it before slowing down, however.
What if someone behind you is about to start overtaking you, already indicating?

Why do you have extra mirrors in your exterior mirrors, does this cover blind spots?
I think they’re called blind spot mirrors to give a wider view than the side mirrors

This advice is wrong. Set side mirrors so you can see blind spots. No parts of your car should be visible in side mirrors.
