Cracking job Dave. The depot office is a fantastic piece of modelling. Seeing it in the flesh certainly gave me some inspiration for my own projects. Thanks for inviting me over and I look forward to seeing a 60 on the layout soon ;). As for the loco my vote goes to 47710, it's in a Scottish livery and of course it's a 47! Cheers

Im torn, as a big 47 fan, my heart says 47710 but going with my head, for me it has to be the 26, I visited Haymarket many a time in the mid 80s into the early 90s and among the 37s and 47s were 20s, 26 and 27s, the latter 2 certainly epitomised the Scottish scene. Im not a modellor of any sort but love watching folks videoes, top notch stuff Dave. As you say, it's all about the detail and you and many others are a credit to the hobby, I look at yours and many others layout and it just amazes me, the lengths you guys go, the hard work and patience you have is incredible, your layout just sparks the memories of going out places to visit Haymarket depot and Edinburgh Station, chasing trains. Thank you again.

As for the 20 and 27...I have both. Currently one 20 in rail freight grey. But I will be adding a 20 in blue to my fleet at some point. As for the 27, its been in my fleet for some time now. A new one will be added at the end of the year, when Heljan release their latest batch. Cheers. Dave

1st loco on shed, 40 159 as a nod to it's pioneer heritage in UK diesel traction fleet production types. It also fits with the Scottish theme. - Those dround point levers btw, were mainly white with black handle tops, I guess to make them stand out in the dark at night with only yard lighting would illuminate them.
Its great to see how the TMD area is progressing, with such quality and precision, as always. I would like to see 50 037 as the first to arrive at the shed, thanks

Hi thanks. In the video I said that when its finally wired in there will be different settings, allowing me to have some rooms lit and other not. That should make it even more realistic. Cheers. Dave
That bubble car with the highland stag was local to Bristol where im from. I think your layout as Edinburgh/Haymarket, I had 37417 out of Edinburgh in 1989' so has to be that!
Coincidentally the ride behind 37417 was 30 years ago today, 25th October 1989, she had recently lost her far north diagrams before leaving Scotland for good so didn't hang around Edinburgh for long. She was still large logo but very grubby so if you are driven by detail you will want to weather her some what !!

Paul Hayward i agree, a beast. But it’s not on the shortlist :-)
Great job on the office interior lighting Dave, but I'm thinking even more effective would be to have some rooms lit and others not lit.
Hi thanks. In the video I said that when its finally wired in there will be different settings, allowing me to have some rooms lit and other not. That should make it even more realistic. Cheers. Dave
class 37 ? good video thanks - so much detail and care - office at night looking atmospheric.
cheers. I am really happy with the level of light achieved in the office. Class 37...good choice ;-) Dave
That bubble car with the highland stag was local to Bristol where im from. I think your layout as Edinburgh/Haymarket, I had 37417 out of Edinburgh in 1989' so has to be that!
Westerleigh Werek cool, that’s interesting. Class 37.. how lucky you were to ride behind that. I’m very jealous! :-) Cheers. Dave
