- As we await our biggest and best GameStop unboxing, I had to take my business elsewhere in the meantime. Amazon offers a unique, retro gaming subscription service and I thought as someone who loves to waste money on camera that there wasn't anyone else better suited to give this a rip.

Cars is an awesome game. The open world and the music in the game was really memorable. The gameplay is great as well. Definitely worth playing
Shrek 2 is honestly one of my favorite games of all time… no joke. Used to play it with my dad every weekend when I was a kid!

A solid score but it is obvious whomever is running this account on Amazon is just going to retro game stores and GameStop’s and just buying the cheapest mass market games that has huge amounts of copies made. This explains a lot of the kids games and sports games. All of these games are not hard to find complete in box.
IMO, this was a DEFINITE win. Ffx-13, Black Ops 2, Uncharted 2, Crash Racing, SOCOM ll, and even the Cars racing (I played it on GameCube when I was younger and it was actually surprisingly good. Especially being able to drive around the town). You got a lot of great bangers and classics to add to the collection for a mere $55. Awesome haul and video 👍🏾
That cars game is legitimately one of the best movie tie-in games ever made imo.
I grew up with it and It's genuinely great. I can't speak for any of the sequels but this first one is worth playing through.
(I also grew up with that Incredibles game that was advertised in the manual, that one isn't as good but still okay)
that and toy story 3 were really fun
It was fantastic! I absolutely loved cars when I was younger and the game was so great. I tried the sequel hoping it would be similar, but it was just individual races, no open world of any kind.
The cars video game was my first game I’ve ever owned. It’s so great you can drive through the entirety of radiator springs and you can even unlock outside locations

The problem is that eventually everyone is going to check no sports games and so they are going to be sitting on a massive pile of sports games, which kind of defeats the purpose of selling these old games instead of going to a landfill.
As someone who finally got his hands on a PS2 after stupidly getting rid of mine years ago, seeing the quality of games you got makes this very tempting to jumpstart my own collection.
You get one game and next thing you know you'll have 100. Very big library of "essentials" on Ps2.
I recommend manhunt 2 and any metal gear game

I played Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 1 & 2 and had a ton of fun. The first game introduced me to the band Sublime.

The soundtrack was sick in 1 and decent in 2
Socom 2 was the first game I ever played online multiplayer and it blew my mind that I could play with other players from across the world while talking to them! I spent sooooo many hours playing crossroads and frostfire demolition.
I have a LOT of luck buying games off Amazon. Like recently:
My copy of Heavy Rain still had the origami paper you could fold following the instructions while the game installed (completely crease free)
My copy of MGS4 was CiB
My copy of Prey came with unredeemed DLC
My copy of Mankind Divided came with unredeemed DLC
And not to mention how great the discs of games I bought from 3rd party shops on Amazon looked. I'm definitely buying all my games from Amazon from now on as opposed to a an actual physical store.
That cars game actually is awesome

Nice win! A lot of fun games to try out there! My latest score was a few PS3 games from Goodwill. I found Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2, and X-Men Origins Wolverine all CIB and mint discs (didn't expect that). Paid $15 for all of them.
I always hear people going all nostalgic for Blockbuster and Hollywood Video, but does anyone remember Moovies? All the stores had a black and white roof that looked like a cow's hide.
Yep as I recall the Moovies in our town was both larger in size and selection but also a lot cheaper than Blockbuster. We went there all the time for rentals
I loved Movie King. 5 movie's for 5 night's for $5. My Dad and I would Travel to town 45 minutes away every Week to Rent 5 or 10 Movie's. Great time's. RIP Dad.

I love watching mystery box unpackings.. amazon had some great deals on PS5 games. Picked up a midnight black controller for 49$ with Ghost wire toyko Deluxe edition & No more heroes 3 day one edition for just $20 each.. also have my eye on Valkyrie Elysium & Soul Hackers 2 for just $19 each 👀 . I think my wallet may hate me lol.. 😅

I love the Dave mirra games. Especially those first two and I really can't remember which one is better but the soundtracks are great and they weren't just a complete carbon copy of Tony hawk. I was a skateboarder so I loved Tony hawk a lot more but those first two Dave mirror games were great and Dave was a super cool incredibly talented guy that we lost too soon which is worth mentioning.

I loved Crash Tag Team Racing. My friends and I had a period of playing it after a school and when I wasn’t playing with friends I was playing on my own.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who LOVED FF XIII-2, far FAR superior to FF XIII and without all the nonsense that became Lightning Returns. The music is just top fucking notch, like Full Speed Ahead? The music for every battle? I literally couldn't stop listening to that track even though I put over 70 hours into completing XIII-2!
I appreciate Matty checking sold listings on Ebay to figure out out what these games are worth, instead of checking Price Charting. Ebay tends to be more accurate.

I'm there with you on FFXIII-2, which I think is actually one of the best Final Fantasy games of all time. I did think the ending was pretty atrocious, but other than that, great game and pretty unique in terms of the storyline and structure.
My friends and I played the hell out of Tony hawk and Dave mirra back in the day. RIP Dave mirra one of the goats.

Tony Hawk's Underground was the last really good one, it was all downhill from there. I wish American Wasteland hadn't stripped so much out of the character creation.

I did that, selected ps4, ps3 and ps2. Got a bunch of crappy ps2 filler like a poker game and some hunter game I’d never play. Cool idea but I couldn’t justify wasting money games I’ll never play.
