I hadn't heard that one so I pulled it up on Spotify with the lyrics. It's not as hard as Animals but it's beautiful and powerful and those lyrics.... OUCH right in the feels. They definitely need to check that one out.

Animals was the first track I had ever heard from these boys......HOOKED
They have a live orchestral version of this at Abbey Road and it is amazing! The mix between the heavy and orchestra instruments is insane. Sam's voice is so good live..you should definitely do a reaction to it too! Definitely recommend Dead Butterflies by them as well!

This song is off of their For Those that Wish to Exist album and honestly the whole album is full of bangers. It has a very similar sound all the way through. It was my first album from them. Definitely check it out.

I am sooo happy you guys finally reacted to this song - the Patreon poll came through for me!! Animals was my introduction to Architects almost 2 years ago. I had never heard of them, or of the metalcore genre. Sadly, the band caught a lot of shit from certain fans about the album this song was on, along with the next album, saying really horrible things to them on social media and at shows. I went back and listened to their older stuff and while it took some time for me to get acclimated to the screaming vocals, I now love their older stuff as much as the new, especially Broken Cross and Match Made in Heaven. I hope you continue to explore them and yes, I recommend having the lyrics up as they are as important as the music...at least for me.
By the way, I think the first reaction you guys did with them was Doomsday, not When We Were Young. The Doomsday reaction was how I discovered you guys.

We take our tea like we take our soda sizes, obnoxiously big and sweet, if you ever visit go to "Chicken Express" and get a gallon of their sweet tea unless you can get it shipped to you, it's diabetes in a cup and it's amazing

This was one of the first songs I heard by these guys. They're still one of the bands that pop in my station, but I always have to look and see who's singing the song if I like it. After watching Seeing Red, I was wondering if I knew that band. Then Animals came on in my radio, and the song was "collected" already, and I was like oh! see I already knew these guys. I'm learning them as you guys are!

I love love LOVE this song, and this album! One of my absolute favourites from the past decade, at least. Fans complain that this is where they shifted their sound to a more clean, mainstream vibe, but I became a fan after this, after not digging their sound before! I now consider them one of my fave bands. Defs listen to more! ❤
This album introduced me to Architects, was looking for songs that featured Winston McCall from Parkway Drive, the song impermanence from this album features him. The rest was HISTORY. Finally seeing them in May, one of my last top five bands to see live. CANT FUCKING WAIT🤘🤘🤘

Love this song and the whole album, but I also think you should check out some of their older stuff because they have so many incredible albums. I'd say check out Gone With The Wind next, it's one of their best songs. And honestly keep the lyrics up next to you because those are some of my favorite lyrics ever. The song was written by Tom Searle before he died of cancer, so it will give more context to Doomsday which was the first song they wrote after he passed away, as well as Seeing Red since you'll have an idea of what "Old" architects sounded like and why some people got upset with the style change. Personally they're my favorite band and I love both old and new, and I'm finally seeing them live again on the 31st! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Highly recommend "Hereafter", "Gone with the Wind", & "These colors don't run". GWTW is a gut punch. When you get a chance check out the short doc "Holy Ghost" about the release of the album "Holy Hell" and the loss of Tom. It will make some things clear. It's powerful and moving. Love Architects and can't wait to see them in May!
