    I've got to be honest, at first I wasn't sure about the looks of the wheel, it was maybe too futuristic for me if that makes sense...I don't know what happened, but it just clicked all of a sudden. I watched the video before and the openness of Asetek is extremely refreshing and the engineering behind it is top of the line.
    My plan was already to get the Invicta S line pedals but I'm almost certainly simply going full Asetek eco system, Forte Wheel base, Forte wheel, aforementioned pedals...the software itself is just insane. Hopefully a seperate 5'' display is something that'll be added before then, as well...:)

    • @AsetekSimSports
      @AsetekSimSports  Před rokem +1

      For sure there is "actual" carbon fibers in it. Actually quite a but. If we made it out of a woven fabric, there would still be an epoxy flller, or what and the same with forged carbon. Carbon content would be higher and the price would be much much higher.
      Our Forte Formula steering wheel is very stiff and with all the right functionalities but at a fraction of the cost of a full carbon fiber wheel like they have in F1. Adding more carbon fiber does not add to the experience in a simulator - it just drives up cost and becomes prohibitive for most people because of it.
      We believe we have the right mix of carbon, functionality and cost :) Injection molding is the manufaturing technique - it says nothing about the material itself.

    • @Simlife101
      @Simlife101 Před rokem

      @@AsetekSimSports there are many companies offering full carbon at around the same price. You choose plastic to make your profits larger lol don't pretend it's for the consumer.
