Pheasant Farm Update! (Plus Pigeon Trapping)

- After checking in on the animals and checking pigeon traps (caught 4), I head back out to the Pheasant Farm to see how the birds are doing! I caught an escapee pheasant while I was there and took a look at his Red Golden Pheasants! Thanks so much for all the support!

Get them all, my uncle has always raised exotic pheasants and fowl and as a kid I loved going to see them. Now I love taking my kids to see them.

Good evening Jordan and the mardy one. It was a good tour round of everything as usual! The pheasant farm is always great, we love to look around it with you! You should get rid of the feral and do some homing pigeons, That way you can let them out and they will come back!! You said you would probably get some more geese from the sales, why not get some pintails, pheasants, and some quail!! Even a new peacock and peahen. Roller pigeon is the way to go. I raise them and they are great pigeon. Plus they perform is a plus. Would love to see that in the future in your loft.

Keep doing these Pheasant farm videos.
Switching up to some rollers would be neat. Maybe pick out a select amount of the really nice looking wild birds and keep them. The wild birds are fun to catch but the special breeds are more interesting. I also really like the idea of some pintails if you can get that put together. Pheasants would be cool too but pintails would be different and interesting. Some chicken tractor pens would be nice to help contain and move some birds around the property. Always a pleasure and keep up the good stuff Jordan!
PS You and Bob are in the right on the note guy situation. You both are standup fair dudes. There was no need for hard feelings, accusations or over reaction from him. He could have just gotten together with y'all and I'm sure things could have been made right with him. You and the family be well.

The pigeon Loft looks packed full, I think it would be neat to have Homer pigeons but I don't know what all that entails? Jordan go for homers i used to have them and they are alot of fun!! That game bird farm is awesome!!! That flight pen is so nice! I told you last time i had some red gold pheasants i love um, you should grab a trio! Iv raised bobwhites and cotournix (sp?) quail, both are fun but the both can be really aggressive towards one another, the production rate of the japanese quail will blow you away!!! If you get pintails you will need a federal permit, once u have it you outta also raise mallards to band and release them for fun

Can I suggest if you maybe removing the top board of the wooden nesting box that they may start using it, just a guess. The reason I say this is because the nesting pails you've made for them is wide open with no roof over top making it easier for them to fly in and out of, then it having a roof over it, which would make the opening a little more difficult for them to make. or Instead of removing it, you make another one but instead of having a string of them you make one with only 2, that way if they use the new nesting boxs you make "without a roof" then you'll know why their not using them😉👍

If it was me I would drop half the ferals and get homers. Not a big fan of rollers. The nice thing about homers is you can breed them with ferals and the babies with have the same homing instincts as homers.
I would get them all if it was me. Love pheasants, ducks, and quails so it would be hard to decide.

If you get ducks I say you should get a trio. Get a single drake pintail and two hen mallards! Try to bread and make a hybrid! I know of people and taxidermist who do this to sell and mount them.
