1:24:40 "400 gold my ass" -- Viper had exactly 400 at that time lol
but not at the moment he said it ;p
He did have 400 gold. and 4,000 more. XD
Yea he has one year of gold worth there...
The discussion between Daut and Viper was the highlight of this match. They awareness that they'd be fighting but also knowing that they should work together to clean it up is great. Something you don't see from regular people is the map awareness to know when to turn or stay.
"Everyone betray me, I'm fed up with this world". Super glad with the casual Room quote
Mbl earned my respect for that king escape! That was hilarious
This match was over once Viper (Green) and Daut (Yellow) turned on each other. Pilgrim FFA becomes such a boring stalemate when someone takes control of the mainland while another takes the islands to set up a navy that covers the coast.
Hilarious to see pros asking how to diplo and being so messy.
Pros are not the best. Found that out in war game red dragon. All the so called pro players struggled when hit by not meta.
@@Andrewza1 depends on the game...
@@attilapataki46 OK some thing like Cod I can agree. But most RTS games pro players use the same strategy and just perfect pressing hot keys. When they hit a guy that does some thing unexpected the struggle.
must be just acting stupid for the lols
@@Andrewza1 hhh did a pro steamroll you someday ???
Viper not yellow? What a game!
That's probably why he lost. He was confused the whole time.
That MBL king escape was insane.
"Viper, where are you going with that great SO army?"
AOE Comments are the best x,D
Just watching Viper and Daut be very aware they're playing a game, laughing about how they're working together but also openly killing each others' units. I just came from the second game in this series, and there's a huge difference between the pros being coy with one another because they all know what's going on and are friendly about it vs. the other players genuinely getting into arguments because they're trying to manipulate each other on such a serious level.
After all your attention to the new Regicide Rumble I had to see the old one. What fun to see noob T90 caster! And can't wait for the new Regicide Rumble!!
Already watched this on twitch, just had to rewatch it great game and great casting t90!
That was AMAZING. So glad I watched the whole thing. Would have been perfect if that last "turn" was real.
1h 22 m in this has been one of the best games I've ever watched
Absolutely agree, This game was great fun to watch with so many unexpected events. Until the end i din't know who was gonna win.
I noticed that the main island wasn't actually that big for migration. It was really interesting to see how great players who are known for team games and 1v1s coped with a 8player Ffa. Great vid
Enjoyed this so much, great commentary! :D
Stark pulled off a Lannister 😛
Keep up the good work I love your casting and that 12hours stream was great, Yasir.
eddie should move his king to the mainland earlier...
Very true
It wasn't really safe to do so while Viper was still alive and in almost full control of the mainland. Eddie was in a pretty rough spot with Viper dominating the land and Stark dominating the sea.
Its cool to see you guys come together. Keep up the good work!
God damn that might have been the best game I've ever seen. Thanks for the awesome casting!
That was easily the most entertaining AoE2 match i have ever seen. Thanks for this awesome content.
Crazy Settings = Crazy Matches = Twitch Sub :)
Merry Christmas and keep up the good work, Tristan
So entertaining, really well casted!
Didn't want to comment till the end but I'm so happy that Stark won that, he really really did plan and play out that late game, starving viper and using eddie. I hope Stark at least buys Eddie a beer haha. Great cast thanks T90 and Res22 ^_^
1:05:21 you're surprised a guy named Viper is lying LOL that's even more surprising.
best channel on yt , New fan from Italy :)
Really expertly cast games you guys! If this garners a lot of views it is a perfect 'model game' to show people unfamiliar with AOE :)
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW!!! a vid from 2016! WHAT!!! Holy shit, LOOK how far he has made it taday! All hail, T90 The king!
Awesome game... definitely pitching in on the next prize pool
Viper should fake massing docks on the above and building on the other side
agreed he gave up too soon
Yeah. Although it could've still been too hard to build enough of them and spit out ships, before to withstand an attack and build a.....what's the reverse of a beachhead called. Because I'd guess cyan didn't have all his ships at the top. Also feel like it would've been smarter for viper to first save the entire mainland. Have walls, towers so you have a complete view of the mainland (but of of fire range of enemy naval units) with units spead out to stop any landfall. Stopping the enemy getting a beachhead, and then making the most of the space you have there to make it as hard to get to you, as it is for you to get to the other king. Stalemate the game and get a draw when you don't think you can win it either. In the end he was right when saying to daut they need to get on water together and finish them off. Daut replied he can just do it after killing viper. But I guess viper knew alone, without and docks and ships already in place, it would be hard to do it, if your enemy has masses of ships.
He was outsmarted.
This video is pure luxury, players, comentators, duration, map...
Insane game. Viper was playing 3D chess, but he did not realize that Stark was playing 4D.
so glad to see Daut play so many games lately
They should make the map size 10x larger, up the pop cap to 1000, and make everything cost 7-8x as much and advancing to the next age cost 50-100x as much so that the game stops being a massive rush to imperial.
I want people to actually settle into the age and develop and strategise based on that era.
Upgrading to the next age should be a serious grind, actually it would be cool if you had to research all techs from that era before advancing too.
The large map size would make for much more interesting gameplay allowing players to construct complex defensive networks before even discovering other civs. It would be cool to see large kingdoms and real development and planning.
Idk it just feels like with a few changes the game could become a million times more realistic, you would see much more tactical gameplay as opposed to the typical unit spam.
There would be real throught needed in moving your units, they can get cut off or go so far out of range from your base that you would be defenceless to a counterattack.
a million other little things but im tired
That video thumbnail looks so awesome. I remember seeing those pictures somewhere on a weekly AOE screenshot competition I think but don't know if that is a game mod or what?
how have I not seen this before? such a high profile match.
First FFA game where there's action from the first few minutes.
This game was quite enjoyable.
I usually dont like res casting because he spends soo much time explaining game basics every single stream, but this one was really fun to watch.
i watched this game from vipers point of view as he was playing. amazing to see it from another point of view.
Wow what a game, now lets see a pro Forest Nothing or CBA Kappa
Little did you know! ^^
Steam is having great discount so let's buy it now!
What a great game. Man, I love Age of Empires.
GREAT GAME! Deserved win for sure !
Kind of disappointed Viper resigned. Really wanted him to go bottom right corner. But as T90 said, at the cusps of wiping Eddie off the map mid game they allied. That end was the result.
Thanks for this!
Stark should rename himself to 'Iron Bank of Braavos'😂😂😂😂
MBL's lucky escape and Dauts' 1 catapult taking out all of Vipers' near his king was legendary. Who was the real winner? The guy Daut pulling the work? TheViper taking out the best player and being sneaky, dominating the land or Stark dominating the sea and being the one left?
You improved alot when i compare this video to your newer one
Super fun game! Enjoyed it a lot! I don't mind it being "boring" sometimes, I get to do some chores with just the audio while I listen to the development of the game. =)
Go, Santa, go!! You can do it!
Top 10 Anime Betrayals
Amazing that you managed to get baron ragoo on the show
We have some chat issues! 1) After the restore, red seems to be saying that he can see TheViper's messages even after TheViper said to "check your writings", and TheViper's own chat settings can be seen to not include red.
2) 1:23:41. Stark (cyan) says some stuff at 1:56:29 in-game time. T90 is spectating TheViper. In TheViper's POV video, at 1:25:48, same in-game time, that message doesn't show up.
Also, pastebin.comSLASH4ukwRxDG
you should do highlights at the end these of like funny moments and the players dying i think that would be cool
viper tried to do something different with that archers and hussarls by attacking whole navy, but was it a heroic move or so silly?
3:00 A floating Relic. WooooW!
Wicked game!!
I love these dual commentary vids
14:00 edie could have taken Bact's king, because his town center was full, lol!
1:22:00 perfect time for Stark to push
Viper and Daut turning against each other before going to water was probably the dumbest pro player decision in AoE history
Viper tried to go water. But daut was the one who made the decision to fight among themselves.
Daut underestimated opponent's navy and trade. They misunderstood the tade power
Where can I get to know upcoming T90 twitch streams?
It all came down to who played the smart way, not the most skillfull. Daut had great skills, but he took the role of siege guy that refused to finish others before turning on Viper. Viper had no choice, he was in bad place, but he could've got some trade going earlier and not to taunt Daut with his SO near his castle. St4rk on the other hand took only cost-effective fights, starving opponents resources while he regenerated his with trading. Stalled out and ruled on water until he was best. Eddie deserved a beer or two from St4rk :) Great game!
Boring. It's just a video game and it's just 100 bucks. If I am playing, i play for fun. Especially with so many viewers, dont play like your damn life depends on it. I'm not as familiar with stark's style as some other players, but I get the feeling he would have dragged that out for hours and hours. Take that crap off stream 11
Hey T90
I wanna play Pilgrims with my friends on a AoE2 conqerers edition
where can I find this map, and how do I "install" it?
it is preset on your "personalysed" (insted os standar maps)-->pilgrims. Special maps for mp
"400 gold my ass" lel
42:45 edie finally finds out you can research treason 11
Tower rush at 2 hrs and 40 mintues - smooth.
anyone know how i can play this game on mac?
awesome game!
If all the water on the map was shallows/ice so that units(and ships) can walk across then this would have been a fair game! Obviously no buildings can be build on it but for players who win land can still have a fighting chance for water.
I am surprised that one of the 'coastal' players didn't go back and take over all the starting islands to add the resources to their bid for the win.
age of empires: cold war edition
Hooray Brazil!!! Stark played the smartest cause he had the most on the line. 130 dollars is no joke.
Where can i find this map on steam?
I saw this one on vepers channel, nice to see what was happening outside.
pineapple
I would have loved to see 2 transports from Eddie, one with 10 pettards and one with 10 plumes, and pleased the pettards while being an ally
Such a fun game
In the endgame both St4rk and edie were trading with BacT's market instead of each other 11
great stream, missed the twich chat, thats usually fun
Where's Blue Coffee to make this last hour interesting?
I wonder what he would have done XD. Win or lose that guy is a legend
This is like Britain and France in the Napoleonic Wars, one has the oceans and island, the other controls the continent.
but britain didn't trade away their entire gold treasury for nuts 🤣
biblical
bockt and tay toe LOL
such genious play from stark. i'm now a fan
his strategy is good but seems that his skills suck
Stark is 2,2k, so he is everything but bad :) // BuLLeT
@@MetalOfSweden Oh Bullet, I was rooting for you but I guess your civ was not the most useful in this setting.
@@f.c.laukhard3623 heey! Glad to hear man! :D Let's see if I will enter some more fun stuff too ;) Getting stronger again as I played a bit more lately once more. Take care, be well!
And yes, my civ was NOT useful!
@@JonasAnandaKristiansson Good to hear that, maybe I will see you again by chance. Just do not change your nickname so I can realise it :D
That's the dumbest ever Pilgrims map, y'all shoulda had a redraw, because it was half the size it should be! They were all nuts to butt the whole game, and it screwed BacT so hard.
1:21:15- holy shit
T90, the trading ships remind you of ants. I don't see what else it would be.
miss these casts
That Stark guy played long-term - it wasnt honorable but it won him the game!
Well, honor has its costs, as Lord Eddard learned to his sorrow. I guess this Stark here listened to Stannis. ;)
Why Viper don't use monks to convert some ships?
This game was absolutely nuts!!! Great, great game. With so many twists. Unreal...
This was like a well written movie!
Hollywood should take notes!
anyone else get pissed off with st4rk towards the end?
I just wish that Viper and Daut had gotten trade up, crushed Edie and Stark. Then had their final battle.
forever legendary game....
Res+T90
Res can't stop saying "That they do", "that they are", "that it is". It's getting comically weird.
t90official what is the best combinations of Berbers units
i want to now just to play and win against mi friends
Stark ResidentSleeper
Great game, I bet St4rk and Edie split the money.
Yep we did
I love a defensive + trade play and this was the best I’ve seen. I hate how everyone thinks a good play is rush/boom rush.. you boys are real thinkers
@@st4rkageofempires35 lol
Daut basically won the mainland for viper.
i watched this on vipers channel
does this pilgrim stuff work with the AI?
i got a funny feeling that the computer player wouldnt transport to the mainland
I wonder why i never see Players use monks to heal theyre troops when theyre not attacking , you can make quite a Profit that way , not having to replace the Units .
what viper is Norwegian
