    Both of my Mustang seats for my Sportster have fiberglass bases instead of steel. Excellent quality.

    I have an 09 FXDF and just put in an S&S 110 performance package. Can't wait to watch your build!

    Nothing beats CORBIN for long distance days!

    I was set on a saddlemen for my wideglide. But the Drag Pedator 3 looks awesome. Availability for saddlemen might be the deciding factor.

    Great review. Felt like you weren’t showing bias to any one seat. Thx!

      I agree. Also noticed that. The young man spoke clearly. Stayed neutral just stating the facts. He has the right formula for being a trustworthy reviewer.

    Excellent information. Just purchased a 2018 RoadGlide, looking at a good seat. Had the Mustang on my 06 Heritage, loved it

    I can’t decide between drag special predator or saddlemen set up in the Diamond stitch they are only $25 difference i can get the predator with smooth cover for $375 is the saddlemen worth the extra bucks?

    Great video... which seat would you recommend for a taller rider (6' 2")? I was looking at the Saddleman, but maybe the lumber support pushes you forward a little which would end up making me feel a little cramped on my Street Bob (with mid-controls).

    Great video, I’m rebuilding my 92 fxr and I’m not sure if I want saddlemen or mustang. Can I make the saddlemen as comfy as the mustang? I’m 6’2” and love the saddlemen profile wondering if one will sit me back more than the other?

    • @bikeparts3653
      @bikeparts3653  Před 3 lety

      I don’t think a saddlemen will sit you any further back. And like you said, they look VERY different. I’ve owned both, and liked both, but they were very different seats. Try and find a saddlemen seat center near you and take one for a test ride.

    Got a ‘16 fat boy and comfort is an issue with my back. Stock bars I think I’m tackling first however I want to be mindful of a seat.. love the saddle men step up look..
    Getting 14” bars and I’m 6 foot flat.. what’s your take and recommendation on something that can get me 4-6hrs on a single ride?

    • @bikeparts3653
      @bikeparts3653  Před 3 lety +1

      The saddlemen explorer is a great long distance seat but quite as “cool” looking. The sdc step up from saddlemen I think may be the most comfortable of the step up’s. It’s cut a little different. Best luck

    Is that Saddlemen Step Up good for comfort? I have an '08 FXDL and I like the looks however want it to be comfy for 200-300 mile days.

      I’d say absolutely yes, however every butt Is different so hard to say. I’d recommend go to Saddlemen’s site, find a set center near you, and set up a demo.

    What about Corbin...

    • @bikeparts3653
      @bikeparts3653  Před 2 lety

      Corbin is very very very firm. Some people like em. Just gotta be willing to put up w the first 500~1000 miles while the gel in the seat forms to your butt imprint. I’ve never been willing to wait that long, but some have, and that’s why they still around, and some peoples butts absolutely love Corbin’s.
