HOW TO MAKE SOLAR BATTERY BOXES FOR TRAIL CAMERAS

Make yourself these solar 12v battery boxes for your cellular trail cameras! I personal run these boxes on all of my cameras and I’ve yet to have one due in three years (unless a squirrel chews the cables, or a tree falls on them, yes I’ve had both happen..)!

Next time please have the camera facing the work you are performing ie, drilling holes, attaching the solar panel, etc.

I have seen another video where a similar solar box was made but they used a 12v voltage regulator in line with the setup. Have you encountered any issues with voltage?

I have not! I have a few boxes with bigger solar panels where I put voltage/charge regulators. But I haven’t had any issue with the smaller panels!

Put your solar panel wire in the other hole you drilled, then you can push more of the wire in so it doesn't show as much. My 2 cents.
