Very nice. For all those who want to try this but aren’t sure. I say go for it. I’ve been knitting since I was 9 years old. I’ve found that only the basics are necessary. The willingness to go for it and to have confidence in yourself make up a huge part of it. Don’t let it cause you anxiety. Relax and have fun. The worst thing that could happen is you have to rip it. Even if you do make a mistake, you’ve learned and you’re that much closer to making your dream project! One stitch at a time and you’ll get there!
Great advice and encouragement! 💖
5 years late, so hope you are well. I just wanted to thank you for writing such a sweet message to those of us who are a little nervous but decided to go for it and get somewhere with it! I managed to knit my teenage daughter some gloves that she can use now, but this scarf will be ready by.. next years winter as I’m so slow hehe!
I'm new to knitting and I tried cable knitting with this pattern 😅. I crochet so picking up knitting was too difficult
I've been practicing knitting for about 8 months and finally wanted to tackle a baby blanket. And I'm using this but with 96 stitches for it. Your instructions are so easy to follow and so is your free pattern! Thank you so much!
So wonderful to hear, Kyrianna! 💖

I've been practicing knitting for 2 months and I find this tutorial looks easy and this pattern looks so beautiful. Thank you so much.
I love this pattern!! I started it a couple days ago for a scarf and have made significant progress without any visible mistakes, and it’s my first cable pattern! I’m sure there are simpler cable patterns out there, but the clear instructions in the pattern and video make this feel like baby’s first cable, thanks for this wonderful project, Studio Knit!
Thanks for always making the scariest patterns look easy. 👍
Awww... so happy you feel I do. Go for it!! 💖
Studio Knit I wish I could send you a picture on here, I did it! I made my first cable stitch and a bonus it's a heart cable stitch. Thank you so much for this video! The pattern was so easy to follow after you explained it in the video. Man...best teacher ever. 🤗😍 I love how it turned out.
You are awesome 👍
Is it easy? I am a new knitter and this is gonna be my first try cabling.
this is weirdly the best explanation of cabling i've seen, it's so concise and it's not even meant to really teach you how to cable- i've been learning how to knit and trying to learn to cable so this video is amazing because i can also get your pattern to make cute heart cables! thank you ❤️
So happy to hear this video is helpful for learning to cable!!! Happy heart knitting to you! 💖
Your knitting designs are awesome! The instructions are clear. Youn give a novice knitter confidence.
Thanks so much for answering my question! I never heard of a lifeline. I’m sure it saves a lot of time because I had almost finished the first heart, when it happened. Again, thank you so much.
I've just started knitting and I'm in love with your videos - I've been binge watching when the kids are in bed lol. This is gorgeous but I think I'll practice a little more before I'm confident enough
Michelle Erskine I do the same thing!!! I am hoping to eventually get good enough to make detailed sweaters for my kids and husband!
I wish you lots of luck 😄
Ah fab, i wish you lots of luck too!
Hi Michelle, don't be afraid to jump in and start knitting cables. If you break down the pattern by individual stitches it won['t be so intimidating, and before you know it you are a cable champion.
Amazing! Knitting this up RIGHT away!
I love your voice and energy! Very pleasant way to learn about knitting. Thanks for all you do. It is much appreciated.
this is super duper cute! love the pattern and tutorial ❤️
Wow! Very pretty! Thank you so much for the wonderful patterns.
I fell in love with this pattern! I love a challenge 🙋

Very very clear and easy to follow! I was pretty nervous about cabling but you've made it just about fool proof!
This is beautiful
Thank you so much for the cable hearts. I'm going to use this pattern in place of the cables I use for a poncho . Serendipity! The St count is the same 😍
So beautiful!
Your videos are great and your instructions are very clear and understandable for beginners like me. I will definitely need more practice before attempting these cable patterns but have already bookmarked them! Thanks for sharing!

I really like how this looks. I am going to try to make an infinity scarf with this pattern. I think that it would look really pretty. Then if I get real ambitious I am going to try it on a blanket. Wish me luck, Mind you it looks really easy. Thanks for that. Have a great day.
Thank you
Imma make this for my man ❤️❤️
Thanks alot this is so gorgeous!I used the pattern on your website and succeeded to knit these lovely hearts:)
You are so welcome!
So helpful! Could you please do a tutorial for beginners for an oversized sweater with this pattern? 😊
Thanks

Its so hard to follow through since i never diyed with yarn before but i will keep trying :) ty for this amazing tutorial tho! you just earned a new subscriber 💗
Thanks Studio Knit for posting these amazing videos. How do I modify this pattern to have just the second cable heart. The first cable heart has a rounded bottom rather than a pointed bottom one. I much prefer the pointed one.
Hello This patten is amazing! I'd like to make a scarf of it, wondering if you have a cable stitches with this patten in the center and with the width of regular scarf? I've never done knitting before, I do need your help!
I love this! I’m a beginner knitter and I feel like maybe it’s all possible now!
My daughter asked for a sweater to have this stitch for pockets!
Thank you so much
Have you ever done the horseshoe cable stitch?
Hearts on the pockets sounds so cute!! How did it turn out? 👏👏
Gorgeous pattern and clearly explained - thanks! You don't mention it on the video but do you first knit 6 stitches before the pattern starts or is it 5 stitches! As well, your sample shows a garter edge that is not explained in the video. Could you please outline the lovely edge? Thanks!
Hi I was wondering how to do this with a bigger piece like extra space on the side of the cable heart?
v beautifull
Reverse stocking stitch
I bought the pattern for this and can’t wait to make it. However, do you have any tips on how to make the hearts a different color if I wanted to do a grey scarf but pink hearts? I’ve looked at many intarsia cable videos but I haven’t seen how to possibly start this one!
Your channel name is classic and cool and simple, I didn’t make it but I subscribed
Thank you... and welcome!! 💖
Thanks for the pattern and tutorial I’m going to try this while on holiday thanks again xx
I want to make a sweater with this design, am I suppose to do the garter stitch all over the side?? And I’m thinking to do rib stitch in the bottom./sorry, bad english not my first language;)/
Are there any simpler patterns in this heart motif.
Just in time for valentines!! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Miss Angeline! 💖
I am thinking of putting one on a pussyhat. here the pussyhat is such a big hit i have been knitting like crazy and i tried lots of patterns to make them all different. even fair isle i tried will load up a pic when is done.
I was a little confused. how do you know when to put 1 or 2 stitches on your cable needle when it mentions 3 stitches.
SOSoooo.... Beautiful, thanks for sharing❤️
I am signed up for your email, but I still can't print the pattern for these super cute hearts! What to do?
This video has been really helpful. Thank you. Is it possible to do this pattern using 2 colours? How can I edit the pattern to show this?
I am planning on making a baby blanket using this pattern. My question is: I am making a border of k2p2 on both sides (also top and bottom). So how many stitches do I need to do only the cable heart pattern?
Please send more cable design and cardigan collar designs
Nice
Can I knit it upside down because i am knitting a pullover from top down
Hi I'm planing to invest a set Bamboo interchangeable circular knitting needles. there are 2 compony I''m thinking Addi click or Takuma .please give me an honest advice which to pick , My experience with the interchangeable needle is the cable are so stiffed and the yarn tend to get caught a the joint.Much thanks.
Lindo 🌷
I wonder if I could make this into a headband, and use smaller needles? So pretty!
Great idea. I haven’t tried it, but want to! 💖
I really love your pattern! It's so cute. If I wanna make the shape for double size, can I make everything double? Thank you
I have a question, the pattern shows rows 1 to 12, after row 2nd it says "cable heart repeat rows" so, if I finished row 12, then, do I need to jump to row 3 and kept going from #12 rows to row #3?
Kristen will ¥ou please feature How to knit a flower for pillow? I bought the book you recommended but the flower was knit with petal individually I don't know how to put together to make a flower,Thanks you
How do you do CL3F?
i want to use this pattern for a mug cozy, but i don't know how to resize it. could someone tell me how it would work if i used 12 stitches instead? thanks!
I have a studio by white lk150 knitting machine. Can I do the cable heart pattern on my knitting machine?
Can I do this pattern with one color for just the heart and another color for the background?
this is a great pattern, I love the cable hearts. I have a problem though. The sides of my scarf are folding over the front. I'm using the correct size needles for the yarn, what is the solution?
Lisa Harbison try blocking it or cast on 26 stitches and follow all of the rules except knit the first and last stitch on every row.Or if your already deep into or finish with the project try crochet on the sides.
