1:25 I could totally see this being used as a speedrun strategy if you can jump up and clip into the cage where the cat shine is behind fury blocks here. You could even get out of the softlock by re-loading your file.
And also ignore the platforming to enter the Colosseum

You can also do it in the base game if you take damage while diving, i did it completely by accident once

Mario probably didn't notice he had another power-up so he just kept diving lmao
With Plessie, I found something similar to what you showed, when I tried to jump up onto a Giga Bell Statue. I don't think Plessie stays on there but I did see Plessie switch back and forth for a few seconds.
I found another glitch, if you go to the final boss fight of bowsers fury and go to any ramp with 4 boost pads next to eachother on a circle and drop plessie of on the right side of the circle but still on the side of where you would normally use the ramp perfectly, she / he will start to sink to the bottom of the ocean and eventually respawn. If it doesnt work try turning her around sometimes.
I experienced the flopping Plessie gift while returning a lost cat. It was pretty funny
I have a cool glitch! Go to ruins gigabell and run at that launch pipe to the sky. Right before you enter the pipe, use a powerup. Then spam A and when you land, all of the games UI will be gone until you go through another launch pipe. You can't even dispense power ups while th glitch is active

the proppeler box glitch where the snow is on top of an invisible block happened to me in normal play, same goes for the weird glitch that duplocates the box in front of you when you run

i think i found a glitch at the lava area with the turning platforms where if you hide in the biggest stack of question mark boxes while bowser is awake the fight will go on longer than it’s supposed to until you move away

Smashy, you can actually do the exact opposite of the 1st awesome glitch (for any power up) if your like example: fire Mario then do the fire ball throw so before the fire ball takes action pick the cat bell then you can see cat Mario throwing a fire ball. Try it!

The Fury Bowser getting stuck glitch was something I encountered a few times because Bowser somehow got over there
The dive with other power ups glitch works in normal 3d world. Found out when I tried to do a different glitch.

Also with the 2nd glitch you can go inside the arch at the beginning but not the boom box
the bowser stuck glitch isn't really a glitch, more less the ai pathing exploit. during his rolling attack he will always make him jump over the parts islands that is a small wall but it just happens that his jump isn't high to get over that part, so he will keep attempting to jump over it instead of going around since he's always rolls towards your direction no matter if he's island hopping.
The glitch where he made Mario go Brrrr made it look like he was ready to BLJ
another strange glitch that I found was if you are on a fling pole and you move both joysticks the opposite direction of each other Mario will spin faster than normal.

I guess the propeller box frame rate drops because it's a very hardware intense game for the Switch and sometimes it can't do them at the same speed as usual.

I found a glitch and i did show it on sparks twitter... it's where u grab a bom omb while swimming out of bounds.. what happens is when u do that at a certain spot that a bom omb bowser jr attacked you will either immediately throw it or.. what should happen is the bom omb immediately explodes and u get warped upwards to see mario holding absolutely nothing

Ok so i actually discovered a glitch by accedent. What you need to do is become giga cat mario and run into bowsers shell from the bottom side when he is rotating sideways, (like in 3:15) and mario will kick the shell and bowser will float in mid air
(i dont know if anyone understands what im saying i hope someone else can get this to work)
The first one done with the power up that is a leaf brown sort of when you do this glitch with it looks like Mario is tales from sonic and he trying to fly.
