  • Dr. Marlon Stoeckius is co-director R&D at 10x Genomics’ European research hub in Stockholm, Sweden. He leads a multidisciplinary research team developing next-generation spatial-omics applications. Prior to joining 10x Genomics, he worked as a senior research scientist at the New York Genome Center’s Technology Innovation Lab developing experimental methods to obtain multimodal information from single cells. Marlon performed his graduate research in the lab of Nikolaus Rajewsky at the Berlin Institute for Medical Systems Biology, and his postdoc in the lab of Antonio Giraldez at Yale, studying posttranscriptional gene regulation in early embryogenesis.
CITE-seq = cellular indexing of transcriptomes and epitopes by sequencing, a method in which oligonucleotide-labeled antibodies are used to integrate cellular protein and transcriptome measurements into an efficient, single-cell readout: cite-seq.com/
