    Yes - this is a very highly requested video following my series "Web Developer reacts to incredible websites". In this video, we look into a variety of websites and web applications all made with three.js, and each one serving a different purpose. The flexibility of web development amazes me every single day!
    Websites featured today are fully mobile responsive (apart from the last fingerspelling website) - here are the links:

    Reminds me the story of a marketing manager who killed a series of ads that everyone loved. And his point was: everybody loved these ads, but nobody bought the product.

      Im in the industry of GRAPHIC DESIGN for quite some time and let me tell you one simple thing - you grow to appreciate and be fond of aesthetics. Clarity and message delivery are very crucial for best informative portfolios. I used to get excited from all the game-like websites and being impressed by developers capabilities.
      The skills are very much shown, of course! but as a recruiter I couldn't for the world have managed 30 seconds in these overdone portfolios just in order to navigate and check one quality fit.

      @@drchey1397 which is why these are important things that need to be considered by devs. No employer is the same, they are all different so its all about tailoring; I think these portfolios are great, and would definitely land them employment but maybe to subdue that factor that you mentioned which is very valid because sometimes employers want to just get straight to the resume, they could provide different mediums within the website, for example options, an explore option to get the immersive experience like showcased in the video or a resume option to go straight to the work and skills. I believe that we shouldn’t compress our creative abilities just to suit employers but we should adapt, else we would be broke haha

    I know that it’s stupid as a CZcams viewer to write a comment like “that’s it, I’m unsubscribing” and acting as if the CZcamsr really cares about that.
    But I just want to say: I really want to enjoy your videos. But if there’s a 1:30 minute intro telling me to subscribe and then after showing one website you go into an ad that’s more than 2 minutes long, it really gives the viewer the impression that you don’t really care about the viewing experience. Honestly, I’d rather save 13 minutes then and see three links to the portfolios so I can look at them myself. Of course I’m fine with CZcamsrs getting that money, but the way you do it really turned me off of watching your videos and I feel like other people might feel the same. You might see it in the retention rate, I might be wrong too. You have better insight than me.

    • @developerfilip
      @developerfilip  Před rokem

      Thanks for the comment, I think it’s important for me to address this! First of all, you are more than welcome to not watch my videos, nor to subscribe. I don’t force anyone to watch even a second of my content, people come here because they like what I do ☺️ You are always in control and can skip the introduction if you feel it’s irrelevant, there are also timestamps that allow you to do that and get directly into the actual content. As per the adverts, I don’t actually decide if a 2 minute video shows up, it’s not in my control. On that note, you can install Adblock and never see an advert on CZcams again. I put hours of work to make these videos so others can watch it for free and be entertained and inspired. ☺️ I’m happy for you to “save the 13 minutes” and watch someone else if that’s how you feel! 😎 All the best!
