These guys had a SERIOUS groove, this was such a great album. And gotta love Ray's outfit ;) I know I sure do!
He’s so beautiful to me
Raphael Saadiq?
That was sweet! The cat on the drums has always had the tightest sounding snare drum. Used to have there performances from the Arsenio Hall Show
I love that shirt 👕 Raphael is wearing, he’s got an amazing body and wears clothes so well. Looks like amodel
Laester E Dickson Willis yes he does I love that about him.
Ohhh my thoughts exactly I love his lips also He looks like a Whole Meal

Raphaelalways gives his best on David Letterman’s show.
That Baseeee 🎶🎸
Check out the harmonics at 2:51.........sweet!
I already know you’re talking about the bass harmonics post-chorus. That shit caught my ear too
Killer groove . . .

Great performance I love this live version even more funky. All three look so handsome
I love seeing their progression into their own style.
I agree up wituzzzz and 2022 you still rock my world. Listening to this now on my BEATS🕺🏾🙌🏼😘❤🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶Real music.
Love the changes that were made post-chorus with the horns and synths. Glad I decided to check this out on a whim. A bit different than the album version
2022 getting off to a good start with this amazing Band 😱😍👊🏾✊🏾👏🏾
1funkydrummer4 I agree that those harmonics at 2:51 were "off da Heezy!"
Yesssss so groovy!!!!
I'm surprised that no musician has pointed out rhe fact that both Jubu Smith and Spanky Alford are playing guitar in the background.
Aum Mu Ra I seen them. Raphael was doing his own thing by then, they were pretty much broke up, besides doing their obligations to support the album for the record company. They were on tour with Janet but didn't make through the entirety. Jubu was them on the Revival album too.
If ya watch the documentary jubu was writing most of hooks and made the bed of the music for the songs and wasn’t getting paid until I big time producer explained to him he should be getting paid because he was writing and producing
2022 se iniciando da melhor forma com essa Band incrível 😱😍👊🏾✊🏾👏🏾
Solid groove.
Jubu is the shit! Straight up
No lies told!

Nice nod to Nirvana (R.I.P. Kurt Cobain).

@@therealflamelit agreed
Always felt this from back when it was first released . Same melody As the teen spirit pre chorus .

This performance was good but they seemed to have rushed the song in comparison to it's original mid-tempo version.
