One neat thing about this game is it seemed endlessly generate more parts of the map. I remember just walking forever to see how far it would go and eventually gave up. Great old school shooter.
All the maps are just one large tile repeated endlessly. So the map never ends but if you pay close attention you'll realise you're just walking through the same terrain.
i love you for uploading this. 14 years old, first year in high school. i used to come home in the afternoon and play this game for hours, trying every single possible way to complete a mission. best years of my life.
I beat it yesterday and it's a decent game, but the missions get too repetitive to a point where it's hard to justify the game being 40 missions long. Plus there was a nasty glitch where you if you left right mouse when you complete the mission, you start the mission all over again. I'd give this game a 6/10 or 7/10.
Hey man doubt youll see this, is there a delta force game in like vietnam? I remember playing a game where you start as a POW, and mortars blow up the prison and release you but I cannot for the life of me find it
@@Jack-Eugen I too have respoct for old games. In fact, i have more respect for old games, than i have for new ones, and i have played all popular and semi-popular 90's and early to mid 2000's FPS games... however, Delta Force is one the most shallow gaming experiences i've ever had, and it is overrated trash for people with taste for video games.
@@crea-ef1ik I didn't miss out, i'm 36, and i played more Quake, Quake 2, Half-Life and Unreal deathmatches than you can count, before the 2000's alone. I can see how Delta Force was probably an interesting tactical experience as a multiplayer game, but as a single player experience it is extremely shallow and repeptitive. A good FPS should be good at both the multiplayer and single player aspects, unless it's made to be multiplayer only, which Delta Force clearly wasn't. And what is that game that instantly gives you the location of multiple enemies at the press of a button? Because as far as i remeber DF does exactly that with the radar. So i guess DF is a joke by your standards?
Brooooooo not sure how I ended up here but this unlocked sooo many childhood memories
You are not the only one
Yeah
Me too but i thought it's better than this🤣🤣🤣(graphics i mean)
thats right man!, thats why today I just installed this game in my windows 10 again

Used to play this with my Grandpa. It's been a few years since he passed, and his anniversary was the other day. This was cool to stumble upon.

It was one of the first, if not the first game to utilize voxel terrains, quite impressive

I remember playing this as a wee lad, such good memories. Makes me want to escape to the past.
Exact same though

And also after exiting that mission after re-starting the mission again due to glitch. You would still get that message which Congratulates you.

Am I the only one who played on semi auto the whole time? The ammo waste on display here!
The deserts in the first one are the best. DF1 FTW!
The most boring piece of trash shooter ever made!
Cry
It's not as deep or good as Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon, but I'm enjoying right now playing it for the first time.
