I’m looking at getting this plane. This video was very helpful

How hard is it to change a shaft? Is different planes all the same? Got some Dynams you know don’t trust.👍🏻

Not hard at all. Keep in mind, the upgraded motor is the motor supplied by Flightline. Here's a link to this plane (www.motionrc.com/collections/warbirds/products/flightlinerc-f8f-1-bearcat-pnp) The upgrade option is available, but intended to be used with a 2 blade prop. The spacing of the screws for the prop shaft to mount on the motor are the exact same, so it was easy to just unscrew the ones the stock 880kv comes with, and replace it with the original shaft from the stock 580kv motor, allowing me to use the stock 4 blade prop. Some planes have different sizes, depending on the manufacturer. I also have the Dynam F6F Hellcat, and put the 650kv motor, also from Dynam in that plane. I think the stock ones are around 500kv.
