Ehem, Ukrainian here, and some info about the topic: their daughter has been living with her father since like late 2010s after the split of her parents, i.e., when the full-scale war has not happened yet; no, she is NOT in the war zone.
Moms deal with difficult stuff too. She trusted someone and was doing what she needed to get better. I hope she gets her baby back.
Postpartum depression almost took me. My heart aches for her, no one should have to go through any of this
I greatly empathize her situation. Being an addict with PTSD will have you making "numb and dumb" choices. At the time, I'm sure she was thinking it was convenient not to have to worry about her daughter while fighting addiction.... now Sober, she realizes that she needs to be in her child's life. The father shouldn't take that away- it's tragic and only hurting the child.
I'm an x opiate addict. Been clean since 2016 and let me tell you. You have no idea what hell it is and you can never understand it unless you've been there.

There are two sides: the addict and the family, if I were the stable parent and know how dangerous hollywood is for little girls (Hayden got drugged at 15 by people who were supposed to take care of her), I would get that little girl away from that environment- As you said, Hayden could go live there but the price would be to give up her career

Opioids are extremely difficult to get away from. It can be an addiction that resurfaces several times in your life or with every trauma. I am in treatment for the second time after the death of my son. I hope Haden can get help. Very sad.

Hayden's daughter may not be in any danger if she's with her ex, the father of her child, in Ukraine. From what I hear, the fighting is mainly in the eastern part of the country which is controlled by Russia. Kyiev is Ukraine's capital. There's no telling what Hayden's daughter will think of her once she's older.
It's true. The regions bordering with Russia are occupied. The rest of the country is living their lives. But you never know when the bomb lands next time. My parents live in the central part of the country, and the bomb shot the house next to theirs. 11 people were dead just like that. So it's still dangerous. my parents get used to it. They even refuse to go down to the bomb shelter when the alarm starts😮

We don't exactly know what happened. It's possible that the dad decided the child would be safer with him after something happened that endangered her safety. The dad would then rather take the kid than have cps take her.

My friend had very bad postpartum depression and she ended up self medicated with cocaine and such. She lost custody of her son because the drugs were coming first. Not everyone is meant to be a mother.

I was addicted to opioids. Five years on methadone to get to where I am today. Last time I ingested an opioid (prescribed methadone) was in 11/8/15. I’ll never touch them again. Stay away if you ever get curious! It’s one of the worst addictions ever!
It is in fact hard to take care of someone else when you are not okay yourself, but at this point, she is able to go and get her daughter but doesn't do it, seems like she just gave up on her, really sad for the kid
