Good video. Medical Lab Technologists are the Back bone of Hospital. They can join teaching, they can join lab work, there are so much opportunities in foreign countries for lab technologists like in kuwait, dubai, saudia, New Zealand, Australia. Love this field brain of medical.

Money/respect/degree/or everything
If money is needed at early age without spending much on education( money wise n time wise) then medical lab technology is good.
But if u want to wait for earning money n u can spend more on your education n then medical microbiology is good.
To me,I always feel it depends on the individual.
I hav seen phlebotomists who r earning better than quality managers.
N I have seen technical staff better than phlebotomists too.
So it all depends on individual.

A candidate who has done bachelors in micro/medical micro n then going for masters in micro has definitely more knowledge than one who has done bachelors in lab technology.
