  • In the series "Reise ohne Passierschein" ("Journey without a pass"), an SFB team goes East. In Cottbus, a typical small town in Brandenburg, they record what has happened in the Soviet zone in the 15 years since the end of the Second World War. In 1961, the city on the Spree river had a number of remarkable, partly reconstructed sights despite severe war damage. The team hikes through the alleys of the old town to the upper church on the market square, past the monastery church with the Wenden service to the castle church. The impressive churches are especially highlighted as a supposed bulwark against the atheism of the East. The tradition of the Sorbs even seems to Western visitors like a dangerous Slavic influence. Eventually the commentator dreams almost wistfully of the day on which all Germans can visit the Spreewald near Cottbus again.

Sehr interessanter Film, ich sehe einige moderne Fahrzeuge, Framo, Wartburg, Straßenbahn - obgleich der Fokus natürlich auf den sehenswerten Gebäuden und Straßen liegt!
    Sehr schön!
