Thats one of the things I hate about RPGs and MMOs. Like, I saved the world about 5 times now but I still have to pay for healing potions and can't even get a decent mount without paying real money.

Can we just appreciate the fact, that the creators made special diagloges for Tweek and Craig, when they attack each other? Like:"I'm sorry about this, Super Craig" and "No, Craig!", that they stand next to each other, when the car comes, even if they are enemies and that their name is just like Superman and Wonder Woman?🙏

The entire gender thing has me hysterically laughing, but I'm also insanely impressed that the first (I think?) video game to have such options is a South Park game, of all things. I'm one million percent excited for this game, and I'm most likely going to go play Stick of Truth tonight.

T Luke well, there are two difficulty meters in this, skin color affects some dialogue and money, while for combat the highest level is called mastermind, one achievement will have you playing a black character on mastermind combat level, it is called The Token Experience
Morgan Freeman gave me a hairpick artifact which actually had really good might that I used for a while 😂

I don't have a problem with that. Guys secretly play as girl characters.
Though I usually play guy characters, it is a nice addition. I wouldn't mind playing 2 playthroughs, one with a guy and another as a girl. xD
when I realized there was new and different dialogue options for girl characters I found that to be pretty cool. Like Craig commenting "He is a boy, I'm gay yet for some reason I'm not attracted to him" or Butters saying "you know for a boy you are awfully pretty New Kid"

at the very least they could've done a better freeman impression than what sounds more like one of their generic guy voices.

The thing that weirds me out the most is that in the ending, the voice of your character is clearly that of a boy, so you could be... like a very tomboyish girl? I dunno.

One thing I liked in the first game was that all abilities were made from conventional object i.e the wizard shock spell was you tossing a water bucket on someone and shocking them with a car battery. Shame that that's gone now. :(

The last game explained how the "magic" was able to effect real things, via the use of improvised weapons. but do they explain the superpowers this time? Last time i checked there only 2 South Park residents that have superpowers (unaided) Kenny's Rebirth Curse & Mint Berry Crunch's Alien Ancestry.

Skankhunt42 There are not. There aren't any in Stick of Truth either and that game came out when Microtransactions were taking off.
But there are preorder bonus. The good thing is the bonuses seem to affect the game that much.
Microtransactions kicked off when Consoles became popular.
Pretty sure they kicked off when mobile gaming became popular but whatever.

Go watch a few episodes of south park. If you like it, then buy this game and if you don't, just cross it off. You can also play The Stick of Truth to find out if this game is really for you. So don't rush in and buy this game. Play the original game or watch a few episodes of south park.

I am so hyped for this game. The Stick of Truth was awesome, and I've been looking forward to the sequel since it was announced at E3 2015.
The first one was honestly one of the most fun RPGs I have ever played. I can't wait for this one.

I really hope that since this is heroes and the last was fantasy that the next one will be sci-fi
The bigger question is wether playing as a girl/other will gain you other storyelements as in partying up with more girls.
But we will see that on october.. preordered it (gold edition) on day1 over a year ago. Its one of those games that can't be terrible as it got actual caring devs (some of obsidian work on it aswell that changed team f.e.) and deep support by the creators.
