Now you are the epitome of why I come to CZcams...to learn! Concise, clear, spoken at a normal speed (in a non-robotic voice) at the correct volume, without insane music blaring. I enjoy putting videos such as yours on half my screen, and step by step, follow your instructions on the other half. A big THANKS for all your help.

This by far is the most comprehensive youtube tutorial about the junk files and free spacing. There are bunch of utility software out there which can get the job done partially acceptable but what a user can do to maintain the system would be much more harmless and efficient.

Thanks I run the disk clean up as U showed to clean up the Cache everyday. I would ALSO suggest that after doing so you do a restart. Prior to running I look at my available GB data - Now I am 839gb free of 914gb. So after doing the Disk clean look at your data, normally it hasn't changed. Do the restart then look at data, I normally gain about 5gb of data. Also, on clearing history; there is a Far easier way as I do several times a day. Simply hold down CTRL / H then click clear history; this works for all windows PC's.

Disk cleanup works better if "Run as Administrator". Then it will clear out more files. Caution: cleaning up the updates can free up several GB of storage, but the next reboot will be slow. However, I think it makes updates process faster.
