Triple thumbs up. Black Crowes have some really big hits, but their entire catalog is fire. A lot of deep cuts. Really just one of the best bands and always true to the art of making great music.
Right. There are quite a few Crowes reactions but most of them are just the 3 or 4 big hits off their first two albums and as great as those songs are, they just are not a true representation of who the band really is.
Chris Robinson is the singer (married to actress Kate Hudson at one time), his brother Rich is the guitarist in red. Came to fame in very early '90s with Hard to Handle and She Talks to Angels. Chris was an addict early on but is now sober. React to more of their stuff - you won't regret it.

When this album dropped, us classic rockers from the 70’s were very happy! I think you’d really like The J. Geils Band live performances from 1977 Winterland. You want to see an animated lead singer, you have to see Peter Wolf at his best. Ain’t Nothing but a House Party would be a good start.

The album 'Shake Your Money Maker' was one of the greatest records of all time.
The lead singer is Chris Robinson. His brother Rich is on the guitar. He's very animated and reminds me of the lead singer of The Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger). These guys were fire in the early 1990's. I saw them in concert in 1993 with BB King & Richie Havens. You should check out their songs She Talks to Angels, Twice As Hard and Jealous Again.
Their debut album Shake Your Money Maker is full of hits...and their following albums are awesome as well! Check out Hard To Handle, She Talks To Angels, Thorn in My Pride, Seeing Things and pretty much anything else. ✌❤

My favorite Black Crowes song is Hotel Illness, but you can't go too wrong with any of their rockers.
Their biggest commercial hit is "She Talks To Angels". If you think you've heard them, it's likely that, and despite being their biggest commercial hit, it's still a damn good song that you just don't get tired of!

The singer and blondish guitarist (Chris and Rich Robinson) Started with "MR Crowes Garden " in the mid 1980s and by 1989 were discovered and recorded by Brendan O'Brien as the "Black Crowes". Although the in fighting between the 2 brothers has had the group split and reunite several times, usually with new members added occasionally. I turned 18 in 1972 the rest of the seventies and all of the 80s were just a blur. Except for the music. Chris Robinson is the singer, he's quite a character and has a ton of soul. The whole first album is fire, it's something you have to have. Twice As Hard, Jealous Again, Hard To Handle.
