I have this exact model of Rockbros glasses. IMO the best looking out of their portfolio and they work just fine. I don't like extreme tint, so in full sun they are enough and when sun goes down they are almost fully transparent. For $20 - no brainer.

I like the Coolspo computer. It's has many functions and each screen is customizable. It has functions that the more expensive computer don't have. for somebody who rides locally and doesn't need a map, it works great.

Buy a tool to stop your hands getting dirty remounting the chain, and then mount it to the part of the bike that gets covered in crap thrown up from the rear wheel. Makes perfect sense.

Great content. It's nice to see the budget end of the market for a change. I've actually had that saddle bag in my basket for months, as well as that coospo computer. Reinforced my initial thoughts, the bag will be purchased but the computer won't. Think I'll opt for the Bryton 👍

Showerpass waterproof gloves and socks they are on sale they are a bit more costly but they are excellent especially for winter rides. I’m new to cycling but I for sure appreciate having warm dry hands and feet

Although it is good that Rockbros provides a cheap alternative to the original ones, I just don’t want to support a brand that produces straight knock-offs of the big name brands and sometimes fully independent brands only because of their popularity. Hopefully they design and produce their own because I believe they have potential to be a leader in the budget category.

Great to see budget options as cycling stuff can be very expensive. I did a review on the coospo on my channel (John on a Bike ) and I was VERY impressed especially for the price. They also do an even cheaper one to. Yes you can use your phone but if you don't want to have a big phone on your bike (in case you fall and break it) then this is a good cheap oiption

About the headphones, I recommend saving up and getting Shokz Aeropex, which are waterproof. It's more important than you think.
I've killed quite a few sets of water resistant, supposedly 'sports" Bluetooth headphones through sweat getting into the works. It's almost as bad as dropping them in the sea.
My Shokz Aeropex have never missed a beat.
Plus you get 8 hours of actual battery life.
They are expensive but worth it if you can swing it.
I'd save money on other things, like expensive shorts or smart watches, and even skimp on drive train components (get Deore or Microshift instead of XT) and get some properly waterproof open ear phones.

  • @pedroclaro7822
    @pedroclaro7822 Před rokem

I have little doubt that Bone conduction headphones are the way to go for cycling - open ear means awareness of surroundings and the ability to listen to some music or podcasts privately while cycling. I have been using a small speaker, which keeps animals away when in remote areas, but for road cycling and normal bicycle touring I think that's nicer.
The saddlebag and handlebar bag are great for the price, ideal for starting out imho. Pair that with sth like the decathlon waterproof fram bag, two rhinowalk handlebar bottlecages, two 4L fork bags for heavier stuff and you're pretty much good to go.
Agreed on the bike computer - just get an older used Garmin for 100€. Much better value for money, and functionality.

I got the Rockbros glasses. I like them cause I can fit them over my normal glasses, unlike most cycling glasses. They also have myopia frames that can be inserted into the glasses (similar to higher-end cycling glasses), but they seem to be brittle and it gets expensive to change lenses.
Also, really low IQ comments and downvoters here. You can hate Amazon and their business practices, but some of us don't have good bike shops in our countries, nor have the budget for better stuff or are dipping our toes in a new hobby. And puh-lease, you guys are probably still using Amazon, and CZcams ain't exactly a saint either.

Cycliq absolutely S-U-C-K! Quality is awful, support is about the worst I've ever experienced. And they're expensive. Avoid Cycliq at all costs!
Drift Ghost cameras are much, much better, and their support is brilliant. This Technalogic looks like a tempting option too.
