      i think he is forgotten in the shadow of the other ronnie often
      but he did have a thing of his own ,,,and a dark side ...see sitcom "sorry" ... eeesh
      he was the straight to barker and rightly so but it must be said he had his moments
      he often appears as if he should have more to offer but he really was as he seemed
      a fine performer in his field

    I think this is definitely one of his best ever shows. I passed myself laughing. One outright legend, one legend on a step below, ( Ricky) & Graham just one below that. And all three work fantastically together. 👍❤️🇮🇪

    Ah what a loss, Ronnie Corbett, Ronnie Barker, Dave Allen, Spike Milligan, Benny Hill, Arthur Lowe and the "Dads Army Crew", we were truly blessed to witness such genius, time is so fleeting.

      I did not realize Ronnie Corbett had become so Obese, he must have been very unhealthy towards the end of his life, both of The Two Ronnies are sadly missed!

      He died in 2015 so I think you're mixing him up with Robbie Coltrane who died a few days ag9. I loved him in Cracker and in the Harry Potter movies.

    The main thing I remember about this is Graham at the end of the previous week's show saying the Ronnie Corbett and Ricky Gervais were going to be on the following week, and Miranda Hart (on that previous week) being gobsmacked by the lineup. She might have said wow, that's amazing. Summin like that

    I used to watch the two ronnies back in the early 80's. Sunday nights. I think the british humor is a so much
    better than american humor! The two ronnies had the best joke about the two women and the car that wouldn't start!

      Quite different shows really. The two Ronnie's was more an out and out sketch show, with lots of different characters and a focus on word play, IIRC, whereas Morecambe and Wise was more a mix of standup and sketches, playing largely on their established funnyman/straight man personas rather than creating characters. Of course, this is no doubt over-generalised but they are really too different to try saying one is better than the other.

      It's a throw back to Ronnie Corbett, who use to do a bit on the Two Ronnies show in a chair and tell a long winding Joke. He wore Lyle and Scott jumpers that was well know for their diamond pattern jumpers.

      You need to search for episodes of “The Two Ronnies”. It was a TV sketch show he did with Ronnie Barker (now also sadly deceased) back in the 80’s. Some of the sketches and even musical numbers were brilliantly funny, clever and well written (not all but most) “Four candles” is an absolute classic.😂
