Charging in with a 2H using sweeping strikes and whirlwind will be fucking fun in SM. It's always satisfying.

Melee cleave recks. Problem is PvP right now. With WWAxe and good gear I only hit a third as hard as a Spriest or Boomy. I have to get in range, get rage, and hope I don’t miss. 😂
You should make a followup video to this one 2 weeks into phase 2 to see how close you were. The new runes are just going to make everything so hard to predict, but maybe some of it will be right.

I like the fact that its really subjective. I personally don't care who does top DPS but which class I find most fun to play. Started as a warrior and quickly rerolled to priest with no regrets. Your personal tier list doesn't match mine, but I might give rogue a shot sometime in the future.

As a bear tank, I hope they give us a way to manage aoe threat. All the classes do so much damage, it makes it hard to maintain threat in larger pulls

I agree with ur assessment with warrior. I was thinking the same thing. Love warriors but it’s not as fun for me arm. Most fun is those rare moments where I can’t dump my rage fast enough at 80 plus rage. Then I smash

Can't wait to make an ele shaman and arcane mage with arcane surge. Those will probably be the two biggest burst specs available. Love me some burst.
Yep the mage one shot will be interesting that’s for sure. Just wait till p3/4 when they can Pom pyro surge XD

Tough to say, because we dont know any runes, but I think arcane power is just too good, fire is only better when you have 5 mages to stack scorch and can roll ignite, or rn with limited talents
Is your list about the joy the class has brought to you so far, and how much fun that you project the class will be in phase 2? Asking because without a nerf, and even with bleed immunity in Gnomer, warriors will be on top of the dps charts again. We are getting Mortal Strike and Sweeping Strikes for pvp, and 2H Fury for pve (including whirlwind). Gearwise we are getting SM mail and plate gear (raging beserker's helm), as well as uldaman weapons (pendulum). With beserker rage, we will all have 25% more damage with flagellation. Nothing will keep up with us on the charts, again, unless we are nerfed.
Warrior will be top dps yes, did you watch the intro section of the video? I feel like that will answer your question
Definitely agree. I'm a hunter main and I do believe they're doing a lot of these nerfs to pre-empt 40.
At 40, for BM, we have now scaling pets and then Bestial wrath and other talents that will make pets smack more than they ever did in classic traditionally.
I do hope there's a marksman build that's viable as well. I could give a rat's ass about a melee build mostly because I don't really see that as the class fantasy and I hate melee weaving as a playstyle (personally -- totally fine if it works though for others!).
The idea of not having a pet and doing huge numbers just by myself would be really fun though with high crit and maybe more shots or an interesting rotation to maximize dps in raids that would avoid being overpowered in PvP.
I also have a druid, so if things seem to point in the Druid direction, I may main him!

For pve this is probably pretty good tier list. But i don't care about pve that much. Pvp is the factor that weights the most for a class.
That is correct, I just don’t pvp much anymore at all, and therefore it didn’t factor in here, cause I didn’t think it would be fair to talk about something that I don’t know to much about, I might make one after consulting some of my pvper friends
Mage/Rogue/Spriest and maybe Druid will all blast in PvP

I agree about warlock, I got mine to 23, but I don't think I will play him anymore. I hope some changes come.
I agree that warrior was mid P1 for enjoyment. But P2 we get mortal strike alongside in combat charge for pvp greatness, and sweeping strikes for dungeon cleave spam while leveling. So while the best raid spec might be boring phase 2 still, everything else you do on your warrior will be lit.
The five minute buff complaint is valid imo. I use Pally Power and that helps but five minutes is a drag. SOD is about fun and that is not fun. Otherwise I really liked it and the tools are great in BG's if you get a feel for it. I opt for rogue though since it has more damage. If the Paladin had as much damage or almost as much as the rogue I might opt for that. With the epic 2h I would be in BG's a lot, i can tell you.
I agree, warlock and warrior were very boring to play imo. Doesn't matter if I top the dps charts if i'm not enjoying it!
For phase 2 im going to focus on my priest :) And you're not forced to run Homunculi, I haven't used it in raid once and nobody has said anything. Just depends on the people you play with. Sometimes optimization is not fun.
I started with warlock and then main swapped to hunter. Clunky is a great way to describe sod warlock.
I had high hopes for lock as well, definitely the biggest disappointment for me atm, but I also thought they would be insanely amazing.

@@stebansan I think because the ease of play I have on hunter now is why I describe it that way. In specific I was doing the fire lock build and that is the one I think is clunky. I enjoyed the aff playstyle more and prob will go back to it for p2 as an alt.
@@Jamer29 i also enjoy the aff build more. "top parsers" will say fire is stronger, but i feel both are quite equal, and afli is much more engaging and mobile friendly.

I agree with most but I dont get Warrior at C. They will get whirlwind, mortal strike, WW axe and plate armor in p2
Still same single target rotation tho, maybe ww>quick strike but I hope I’m wrong I wanna enjoy the class, but just have a rage bar and not using it feels awful imo
I main a Paladin and I think in terms of specs for P1 I’d say Ret was best followed by Prot and Holy which IMO I think both suffered in this phase, but I think in P2 they’re leaning towards Holy being the most viable raiding spec with Prot also getting improvements and Ret being put on the back burner, which I don’t think will affect them much considering how overpowered I honestly think they are right now
how do you do fellow ZOOT? As rogue main, i can confirm they will be good,. they are viable for tanking now, but without an aoe ability was holding us back. getting aoe for tanking and mutilate for 40 energy made me take my jewelry to the pawn shop.
on a more serious note, keep grinding man. if i may make a suggestion, should make a 10min guide for each class/and or spec for pve specific and also pvp specific. 21k views in just a few days. youre killing it bro. im gonna look for you in game.

I main a warrior. But I can't complain about the rating. Shaman out shined me during tanking. I could not out threat them. And my warrior did poorly in WSG, as far as I know. I don't pvp often. Also you called C teir S teir

1, warlock dps isn’t dot based as of yet.
2 the entire point of warlock is that health is it’s resource as opposed to mana, you feel like you’re using hp more because you are, you’re supposed too. Just kind of feels like complaining about warriors not having a heal spell, they aren’t supposed too.
I found it interesting how you thought warlock just wasn't fun, because affliction Warlock is one of my favorite classes to play. Just goes to show that fun is very subjective, but way more important that just how high the numbers are that pop up on the screen :).
While it became obvious from where you placed warrior visually along with the tone of your commentary that you meant to say C, what you said was, "I'm putting warrior at *S* teir."
Perhaps its just me that gets wildly distracted with minor mistakes like this, but it might be helpful to have clarification text apprear on the screen

There is absolutely no way priest is B tier Mabey in pve with dps, but in terms of pvp they are literally S tier right up with warlocks.
Since I do very little pvp, pvp was not factored into this ranking, I definitely should’ve mentioned that.
@@Kaghoegaming it’s ok no worries, I think for heals they are incredibly good for pve/pvp and dps for pvp they are amazing, some classes at 40 will be unbelievable OP with runes . But we won’t know yet. Thank you again for the rune guides.
For sure, for me it wasn’t that are bad at heals, they are quite amazing, it just feels so boring, with penance and PoM, all you need. Of course, I enjoyed playing and discovering all the classes as well, plan on doing it for p2 as well, but it’ll definitely take a lot more time then P1
I have 4 lvl 25's Hunter, Mage, Druid, Warrior and have yet to decide what I will push first. Hunter and War are virtually bis. Hunter just don't feel fun to me and is kind of brain dead to play and no wonder it's the bots choice of class.

Ele will be fun at 40, but powersurge needs a buff i reckon or reworked somewhat, 5% is just waaaay too low thats 1/20 proc every 3 seconds...
What do you expect out of restoration shaman in phase 2?
I think it’ll be good and viable for sure, but I think resto druid and priest will be the meta bis healers. Priest will be the best the entire game, and I think resto druid with changes and runes, will be more desirable in the meta game.
When you dont wanna play warrior like this, why are you still doing it and dont switch runes?
Because it’s the meta build and does the most damage.
How in the world were you able to afford the 40g rune on all 10 characters without buying gold?

Honestly Kaghoe, I cant stand playing rogue as it is now... Dont know why I dont like the deadly poison and the rng that comes with that... Playing 3 warriors atm haha!
Fair enough, everyone is different, I tend to love rng mechanics, to a degree, I think the variance makes them have higher highs and lower lows.
what is the point of this if youre going to base everything off personal bias instead of facts? Warrior in c tier are you alright? They will be the strongest class in p2 regardless of new runes
They will be the highest dps, but that doesn’t make it fun or enjoyable, I didn’t enjoy it, I’ve made that clear in the video.

He obviously made the tier list based on preference, not what will be the best. God forbid he has a little fun with it and isn't just posting dps meters. Have you tried actually enjoying a video game lately? Do you brag about your logs too?
@@Kaghoegaming I can agree with you that warrior is insanely boring in p1. The rage management and being top dps in BFD is nice but you cant do anything in BGs or world pvp. Even solo questing is barely doable. In p2 with berserker stance and talents you will finally be able to play the game, they should be so much more fun p2 compared to p1, probably the biggest upgrade in terms of enjoyment of any class to main tbh
I have 6 25's and Hunter is by far the most boring vlass to play to me. Shocking you put it in A tier but Warrior in C tier. I suppose it's all just opinion and preference, but I'd rather manage my rage, which is engaging then send my pet and press... multishot every 10 seconds lol. Anyway thanks for the videos. Most classes are quite simple rotation wise, I suppose I just enjoyed all the cool unique things a hunter can do especially at this phase, that no other class really can do. Might be slightly bias from all the videos I made as a hunter too, but I just had fun with the class.
Melee weaving makes hunter challenging and fun. You standing there waiting for multi is the issue. Of course that was boring. Perfectly timing melee weaving is much harder then warrior.
@scdogg444 Yeah I can see that but I don't player hunter to melee weave. I player hunter to shoot stuff.
@ParagodTV I get that, and so do I. I thought I would hate melee weaving but found out I actually find it enjoyable and adds flavor to the game.
This is a FUN tier list, not a better to worse list in terms of effectiveness for either pve or pvp.
I think the 80 rage thing for warrior is lame. Maybe it should be 50 rage for 10% dmg

They just have one spec outshining all the others and it limits how they have to play, no matter how fun or unique it is, that’s why it was A over S, the S tier were great classes with multiple play styles that i think will only get better next phase

oh man war at the bottom of the list? imo rogue and war have some of the highest skill ceiling in pvp. a lot of people said war would be bad in p1 too
For pvp the list would be complete different, this was rated by my personal enjoyment in pve and what felt satisfying opposed to just raw numbers
@@Kaghoegaming ah gotcha. Makes sense now lol gold making tip that I did for zootedbank, use auctionater to scan daily, then, everyday, spend 10% on things you find through “eyeball” scan that are under 50% value. I have like 500g on HC and about the same on SoD. Buy low sell high !

warlock is the best aoe tank with corruption, cleave and aoe taunt. He also generates aggro with lifedrain. I think the issue is, that u have no clue how to play wl.
