Michael Weston's intro monologue in Burn Notice TV show I do not own any of material in this video nor i am making any profit. The owner is FOX company.
This was one of the best shows ever to be on the air...I watched every episode and a couple years after it ended, did it all over again. Jeffrey Donovan and Bruce Campbell were perfectly cast as Michael Weston, the clever, badas* burned spy and his charming-but-dangerous special forces pal, Sam Axe....a riveting and consistently well done drama w/ plot twists you didn't see coming. I seem to remember that it was released in the summer, kind of like a summer-season, light-weight drama, not a ton of publicity....I figured it would be a one-season show but boy, was I wrong. One episode and I was hooked.
The opening and episode narration hits a little differently when after watching the last episode you realize Michael isn't talking to the viewers....... Spoiler Ahead if you haven't seen it. He is telling his nephew Charlie about everything that happened.
I see the Burn Notice main titles... I picture a Star Trek: Burn Notice with DS9's Andrew Robinson as Garak (A Cardassian Michael Weston) [Voiceover] My name is Garak... and I used to be a spy... until one day... [Voice over a comm channel: We got a burn notice on you... you're blacklisted...] [V.O. continues] When you're burned, you've got no latinum, no backup, no job history... you're stuck on whatever station they decide to dump you on... You do whatever you have to get by (Tailor shop) You rely on anyone that's willing to help you. A Starfleet doctor being watched by Starfleet Intelligence. The illegitimate daughter of a sworn enemy. Family too. [Clip from Enabran Tain's 1st appearance "I'm retired... have been for years...."] [V.O. continues] ...if you have too. Bottom line... until Cardassia is liberated from the Dominion... you're not going anywhere... [Opening titles ends]
My parents (specifically my mom) watch this show over and over. I haven't finished it but I got about halfway through season 3 and its so freaking good.

The low pitch of their voices..
That was a great show. It’s funny to see him on the new Law & Order. Still love his acting, tho.😌👍🏾
