I love the scenes in Missouri where she says “Y’all fighting?” and she runs to Cams animal call. Lily is peak hilarious there.

Lily was one of the best characters but as she grew up her scenes were decreasing and i just wanted to see more of her!!! There was a whole bunch of episodes that she didn't even appeared and yes i know she was a child but the weird thing is that she was more present in the show when she was little and than almost a guest star when she was a pre teen
Probably because it would be weird if a couples small child's gone compaird to a teen that's in school, with friends etc. I agree that it would have been soooo mutch more fun with here there.
The reason for her role being cut back was the recast, the twins (Jaden and Ella Hiller) who originally played Lily didn't like acting so they retired (after season 2). Then Aubrey Anderson-Emmons took over, so they had half the amount of time to film her scenes.
Also because she was in school and a teenager her parents probably wanted her to have a normal child life

This show was not afraid to have lines or scenes that happen in real life. That's why it was so relateable and popular.

I also like the moments when she said she didn't like Beyoncé, Britney or Gaga and when Cam and Mitch checked what she really likes she was listening to heavy rock, and when she was trying to convince Cam that she was a bad clown

The episode where she “married” Mitchell and Cam threw rice and she got some in her eyes. When he asked if she was okay she chucks her flowers at him and yells “What do you think!?” That was my fav Lily moment.

My favorite lily moment was when she was sitting at the table and Cam and Mich off camera were having another argument about the plans for their wedding. Lily did "hand gestures" like the hands were talking to each other then banged her head on the table! She was so over the wedding plans!
Can you share which episode it is? I’m about to finish Season 4 and I don’t want to skip this exchange since I know it happens in Season 5 (I tend to skip a few episodes per season if the synopsis looks boring)

Starting at :29, the Vietnamese restaurant scene, the waitress is played by Aubrey Anderson-Emmons' real mom, Amy Anderson, who is an actress and comedian, who helped fellow Korean and friend, Dr. Ken Jeong, get his start as a comedian in Los Angeles. Ken has twin daughters who are Aubrey's age. Amy used to do stand-up on the college circuit, but has been mostly devoted to Aubrey's career since August of 2011. She is NOT a typical stage mom; doesn't push Aubrey into anything, but is very supportive, and allows her to make choices and express her feelings, but does not allow her to be a brat, so Aubrey is nicer and more down-to-earth than many child stars.
The wambulance episode is the same one with Phil being The Godfather. IMO the best of all time!
Can you imagine if they did a reboot of Modern Family at some point, I would love to see Lilly grown up and see how her savagery has developed. She always stole the show

When the family was in panic mode so they call Jay who is golfing. He knows something is wrong with someone dear to him and he screams "Is it Stella?!?!" I have no idea why that is SOOOO hilarious to meeeee!

My favorite Lily scene is when she was an infant and Mitch and Cam were bringing her home from Vietnam. It was actually the very first episode. I knew the show was going to be a hit. Search "Mitch's Cream Puff Speech."
Of course, that was one of the twins who originally played Lily, not Aubrey, who grew up as Lily, starting with the 3rd season.
Lily was definitely one of the best characters, that kid cracked me up! we really should have gotten more of her early teen years as we saw less of her as she got older.
This series was excellent. Everything about it.

When she shoplifted a bra and passed it off as an April fool's prank on her dads when Cam initially got accused of the theft (Daddy Issues).
Also, in the Last Christmas episode when the family is angry at each other for various reasons, Phil makes a smartalic remark about Gloria and her ethnicity after she betrayed him. Lily passes by thinking he was making a jab at _her_ ethnicity (like her dads often do) and responds (paraphrasing) "was that referring to me? I'll have you know I've been very well behaved today!"
