Skeleton reveals early humans had sex with Neanderthals - BBC News

  • In 1998, the skeleton of a 29,000-year-old child was unearthed in Portugal’s Lapedo valley.
The child had both early modern human and Neanderthal features, including the chin and lower arms of a modern human but the jaw and build of a Neanderthal.
Researchers believed that the child's anatomy was the result of mixed Neandertal-early modern human ancestry.
Now new archaeological and DNA techniques may hold the answer.

I second that. Evolution is a big fat myth & ISLAM is the word of GOD .. Scientifically humans cannot learn talking on their own unless they hear phonetic alphabet from others, that's why deaf babies cannot talk when they grow up despite having normal organs of speech .. It takes 1 year of hard work for a french adult to learn how to pronounce the R sound .. let alone the fact it takes trillions of years to have a few good genetic changes whereas the universe is 13.8 billion years old ... Real science proves evolution theory is a big fat myth.
N.B. The Holy Quran has informed us that the Earth was created when the universe age was 66.6667% of it's current age (4/6, which is "4 universal days out of 6 universal days") which has been scientifically proven as the Universe is 13.8 billion years old (+/- 20 million years) whereas the Earth is 4.543 years old (+/-50 million years) which means the Earth was created when the universe was 9.257 billion years old .. 9.257 / 13.8 = 66.667% .. The Quran also informed us the Universe is full of smoke & is expanding and that it expanded twice and that the 2nd expansion took place when the universe age was 66.667% of its current age (Check out Suret Fussilat, verses 9 to 12) .. etc

Can’t be all that different biologically if they can successfully have children together AND that those children DIDNT become sterile (like in a mule situation). It’s completely logical and without all that interbreeding we wouldn’t have our own modern species today. Knowing that our DNA is actually made up of a patchwork of similar species DNA is actually kind of comforting. Like, we all made it in the end. Just my take though 🤷‍♀️

*Is it possible that since early humans and the Neanderthals did look so similar at the time, especially compared to any other animals either group had come into contact with before, that they possibly did not think of each other as different species? Maybe just saw their differences exactly the same as the small differences from each individual person, like size of nose, eyes, hair color, height, body type, genetic variations that all species have from individual to individual? Maybe they recognized them as the same species. I really think that could be possible, especially when you take into consideration that this would be the ONLY time either group most likely had come into any type of contact with anything that looked remotely similar to them; they wore clothing, they had social groups, they had family dynamics, they hunted for food, ect. It would have been very easy to just mistake these people as just another group of people who are the same species as you, from both the early humans and the Neanderthals. Also, after thinking about the serious limitations they had back then when it comes to thought processes, like how obviously science and genetics were obviously nothing they could even think of to understand that even though they were both so similar they were different species all together. Something to definitely seriously consider.*

The "scientific community" lies to your face about what happened yesterday, are surprised by things from 100 years ago that dont fit their story and have no clue about what lies under buildings and towns established 200 years ago. But ya, they know what happened 29k years ago and are telling you truth about it. Hahaha.

Mated is a term commonly used when discussing none human animals.
It strikes me that the term "having sex" was used specifically to highlight the humanity of both participants, saying "mated" may suggest to the uninformed that this was some form of bestiality performed on "Ape-men".
Regardless both terms have the same meaning, there's no benefit to such prudishness.
