She won the X factor Phillipines, and to become famous that is all she needed to do, because that alone put her on the world stage. There is too much speculating from people who think they are the experts on everything, don't believe everything you read

My preference of singers singing this song is Adele. Give her a listen. She has a lot of great songs.
The rap is her own and in Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines. This episode, she won over JJ.

Great reaction. The Singer is a Chinese TV singing competition for professional singers. Mostly they are Chinese singers but they usually invite two foreign singers. That season the two foreign singers were KZ from the Philippines and Jessie J from England. That was Jessie J supporting KZ in English at the beginning. Jessie J was the winner that season. KZ kind of got jerked around by the producers after several weeks (telling her to sing songs she had never heard before, etc.) and was eliminated towards the end after a Royals performance that was as good as Rolling In The Deep. I've always suspected that they must have paid Jessie J quite a bit to spend three months in China and that they must have wanted the season to end as Jessie J vs the Chinese singers, so KZ had to be gotten out of the way. Jessie J did have KZ help out on Bang bang during the final episode, so KZ was there at the end even if she couldn't win. Just about anything KZ did on that show was very good, but Say Something and Royals were standouts.

@@Suzanne-ds7wq No, I'm mostly not certain. My comment above was too strongly worded. The stuff about the producers is my suspicion because I can't believe KZ's version of Royals could have been voted the worst performance of the episode. Jessie J was trying to make a comeback, so she may have been willing to travel to China for a few months for the exposure and publicity. However, KZ has said she had never heard Real Gone before being told to sing it on the show.
