I can’t wait to see this movie. My admiration for Caitriona Balfe’s acting is what initially interested me. But I remember the troubles as my family faithfully watched the evening news & saw the coverage. In Caitriona’s press interviews for previous work projects , she always responded to press questions with thoughtful & thorough words. Now watching the Jamie Dornan respond to questions with such wordy responses, and Branagh as well,…leads me to wonder do they share a common trait of using as many words as possible, is it their love of their projects & wanting to wet our appetite, is it the Irish gift of gab? Interesting similarities… Can’t wait to see this film.
A stupendously movie cast that oozes with love, heart and soul! Filmed mostly in black and white, so appropriate for the era. Remember to take a box of tissues!
I guess I know what I am doing on Nov 12th. I am so looking forward to this movie. There are a lot of movies about this place at this time, this one looks to really make it personal and intimate. Not necessarily whitewashing the time period but just looking at it with a different emphasis. I think Kenneth is talented beyond reason and Jamie I think is perfect for this story and this role.
