    👉 At Consumer Buddy, we've researched the Automatic Turntables on the Market saving you time and money so you can make an informed buying decision.
    Hey guys Taylor here with another video. Today we're going to be reviewing the six best automatic turntables, we're going to be breaking down some of the features of each of these including some of the benefits as well. So you can see which might be the best choice for you based on your particular situation. And as always, I will include links to each of these down below so you can check out any updated pricing or availability for any you might be interested in. Also, if there are any special deals or discounts on any of these all include those down in the description as well. So if you're here you know that vinyl record players have made a great comeback in recent years, and they actually have great sound quality and truly have a unique sound when compared to CDs or digital mediums. But in order to get the best out of your vinyl records, you want to make sure that you have a great device. Starting out at number one we have the Audio Technica 80 dash LP three BK now this is truly a fantastic belt driven turntable from Audio Technica, and it's been a favorite among customers. It has incredible audio playback quality, it's able to handle both 33 and a third and 45 RPM vinyl and comes with a diamond stylus and a basic level moving magnet phono cartridge. And that's fantastic because it gives you the ability to switch the preamp to use either a moving magnet or a moving coil cartridge. Also it has a universal headshell which makes it super easy to actually switch out cartridges. The platter is truly fantastic. It's made from a die cast aluminum and it's constructed with a four and a half millimeter top sheet of rubber, which really reduces the vibrations that you get. It's also very sturdy and steady with rubberized feet. And it also has a straight tonearm which requires balancing when you first get the turntable but it's easy to calibrate to the proper force. The one major con here is that the turntable buttons feel relatively cheap compared to the rest of the build. The rest of it is super sturdy feeling and this just felt a little underwhelming, but aside from that, it's a great package and you'll be very impressed with the audio quality that you get from the Audio Technica 80 lp three BK Next up on the list, we have the Denon dp dash 300 F, and this is going to be the best value for your money. Again, this is a very solidly built product, it is belt driven, and given the price of this one, it's a great value for your money... run out of the 5k character limit, sorry guys.

    When these turntables shut off, is the tonearm automatically lifted off, or does it remain on the record?

    • @consumerbuddy5837

      Hey there! Good question! The thing about these automatic turntables is that tonearm isn't actually connected mechanically to the record. Once the tonearm reaches the end of the record, an optical LED light sensory automatically cuts power to the motor. After that, the platter will stop spinning, and the needle stays seated on the runout groove so you don't have to worry about accidentally damaging your precious record. Thanks for the question and comment. If you have any other questions or concerns, let me know and I'll be happy to help.

    Strange question, but is the headshell on the Denon DP-300F removable?

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  Pƙed 2 lety +3

      Great question! Nothing strange about it at all! You can buy spare headshells for that turntable so there's definitely a market for it. The headshell is easily removable and very secure when set in place. That way you can swap them out whenever you want. Again, thanks for the great question and comment. If you have more questions, let me know and I'll do my best to answer them for you.

    I have an old/JVC component stereo system. Will I be able to connect the Sony turntable to it?

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  Pƙed 2 lety

      You bet! That turntable supports analog output via an RCA connection. All you need is an RCA connector. Let me know how it goes. If you have any other questions or run into any problems, let me know and I'll be glad to help.

    Does the Retro record player allow playback to an external Bluetooth speaker?

      Hmmm
 Interesting question. Unfortunately, you can't playback audio from this device to an external Bluetooth speaker. That said, it does work as a Bluetooth receiver so you can play audio on that turntable from your smartphone, iPad, or any other Bluetooth-capable device. Hope that helps. If you do end up getting that turntable, let me know how it goes. Thank you for the question and comment. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to let me know.

    Can I manually cue any of these turntables?

    • @consumerbuddy5837
      @consumerbuddy5837  Pƙed 2 lety +1

      Hi! Good question! You don't actually have to do that - it's one of the advantages of an automatic turntable. In this case, manually placing the arm will engage the “auto-return” feature. This returns the arm to its resting place and turns off the unit. If you like to “drop the needle” so to speak, I'd look into getting a manual turntable instead. Hope that clears it up. Thanks for the question and comment! If you have any other questions or concerns, let me know and I'll be glad to help.
